Belgian Waffle Co. – The Perfect Sweet Break

I love waffles. I have done many reviews
of pancakes but waffles make a rare appearance. In this buzzing capital of ours,
the search for the best waffle can be tough that can satiate the mind and are easy
on the pocket.

However, upon hearing about The
Belgian Waffle Co. opening its door in Dwarka I got curious to review this
place. The Belgian Waffle Co. specializes in waffles, shakes and smoothies. My daughter and
I made our way to the City Center Mall, Dwarka to enjoy their selection of waffles.
We
made it to the place and were greeted by Ritesh, the owner of Belgian Waffle who
has a great experience in the F&B industry.  We left it to him to suggest us with the
selection of waffles and made ourselves comfortable in the Café.
The place is well lit and quaint and
decorated with wall hangings, posters and interesting quotes that blend quite
well with the theme of the café. The ambiance is quirky and well kept.
We needed a refreshing drink to start
off and so we opted for the peach passion fruit iced tea – which as you can
imagine, was incredibly fresh. My daughter opted for a lemon iced tea that
pleased her sweet tooth.
Ritesh suggested we start with
the Coffee waffle. He also suggested we try it with vanilla ice cream. There is
something about this coffee flavor that really won us over. It looked like a
sandwich and was served quite differently from other outlets. I was very happy
with this waffle in my hand.
Next, I had my eye on the Bubble Gum Velvet
offering – any dessert that has the bubble gum element has my name written all
over it. It was sinful. Next we tried the Dark Chocolate waffle.
There was a
decent amount of chocolate sauce on it so everything was coated in this sweet
goodness. Also worth trying is their Oreo Shake which has just the right amount
of sweetness.
At this point, we were definitely very full.  My daughter and I had a lovely time at Belgian
Waffle – it was a whole new experience for us.
If waffles are for you, you
really need to check this place out. This is really a place I could waffle on
about at length, but for now I’ll let my review do the talking.
