First Impressions
Tucked in the heart of Sariska, I found this gorgeous property that offered beautiful views to wake up to & a relaxing vibe. This is Sariska Safari Lodge – where the pace of life invites you to slow down. Sariska Forest Lodge is a boutique resort that offers a well-rounded mix of comfort, charm, and hospitality. From hillside villas with sweeping garden views to relaxed dining and personalised service, the experience feels intimate yet complete.
Design & Architecture: Laid-back charm meets colourful elegance
Sariska Safari Lodge blends minimalist design with sustainable materials, creating a calm and grounding atmosphere. It is designed for those who want to fully disconnect. Surrounded by trees and landscape gardens, the experience at Sariska Safari Lodge is intentionally slow. Mornings begin with natural light filtering through soft textures, while afternoons are best spent enjoying the stillness.
The property is defined by its distinctive safari inspired concept, which runs throughout the entire property. From the décor to the atmosphere ; earthy tones, natural materials, and carefully curated details create a space that feels immersive and transportive while still maintaining a refined, contemporary edge.
Rooms
With a limited number of rooms & suites, the experience remains private and highly personalized. Each room is individually designed, reinforcing the connection to nature. Each features spacious interiors, garden views, and elevated comforts, offering private outdoor seating, creating a stay that feels both luxurious and deeply relaxing.
The Superior Rooms features a private balcony with uninterrupted views where mountains and sky meet. Refined interiors and premium bedding, create a calm and immersive setting for slow mornings and sunset evenings. For a more elevated experience, the rooms are equipped with a private sit-out area, combining privacy with a heightened sense of relaxation.
The first two days we stayed at a premium category room, that gave us beautiful views across the garden, best enjoyed from the walk-out balcony with comfortable seating. The open-plan layout included a bedroom area with floor-to-ceiling windows, a large TV, and thoughtful in-room touches like a mini fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities.
It was a great space to return to after a day out exploring. The third day, we were shifted to a higher category room that was gorgeous. A separate walk-in closet with dressing area connected to the bathroom; large windows with views of the aravalis and comfy chairs to glide into while soaking in the views. Overall, the suite was spotless and very comfortable — relaxed styling with modern updates.
With details such as open plan layouts, natural light, and carefully curated amenities enhancing the overall experience, Sariska safari Lodge is definitely worth the experience.
Facilities & Service
Combined with the pool overlooking the Aravali ranges, the overall focus is on slowing down and fully immersing in a peaceful, restorative environment. With its elevated spaces and thoughtful design, Sariska Safari Lodge offers a relaxed yet refined experience, placing you just steps away from some of the most beautiful sunset points, excavation sites & surreal temples.
We were fortunate to visit a very famous heritage site, about 20 kms away from the property. With safari season shut during monsoons, Sariska looks very alluring to nature lovers. The vast open space blooms in green hues that adds to the experience. There are in-house board games that guests can enjoy during the day. Outdoor activities include badminton or a relaxing walk around the manicured gardens is like a treat to the eyes and the soul.
Dining
Dining at Sariska Safari Lodge was all about laid-back elegance and locally sourced ingredients. Their Restaurant offers refined Indian cuisine — all enjoyed with sweeping views over landscape gardens. Whether you’re dressing up for dinner or appear in casuals, dining here always feels easy, fresh, and authentic.
Breakfast in the open was a lovely setting to start the day. The offering was a mix of à la carte service and a small self-serve buffet, with fresh fruit, hot dishes, eggs to order & dessert options. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the quality was consistently good.
