9th edition of Delhi International Arts Festival commences on October 16, 2015

It will soon rain arts and culture on national capital with
famed 
Delhi International Arts Festival (DIAF) 2015, all set
to commence on the evening of 
October 16, 2015 with enchanting
performances by a host of national and international artists at the mesmerizing
Purana Quila premises.

The Opening Gala of 9th Delhi International
Arts Festival, will be a rare treat to the eyes with ‘Vande
Mataram’ – a breath taking multi-style dance production directed by
dancer Prathibha Prahlad, Founder Festival Director of
DIAF, followed by a cross cultural fusion between the ‘The Taiwan
Bamboo Orchestra’ and the ‘Bamboo Symphony’ from
Kerala. This will be followed by a SOOF Ensemble comprising
musicians from Africa, the Middle East and Israel and then followed by Whirling
Dervish and Traditional Dances, with performers from Egypt.
The fortnight long cultural carnival will
be awash with music, dance, theatre, films, art exhibitions and children’s
events by troupes and artists from around the globe. Entry is open and free to
public.
