Taj, Dwarka houses the luxurious  spa
that is a sanctuary of discreet well being.The  sleek red, white,
and gray space, transcend you to a different world, while the light, bright and
minimalist design lends an opulence in the atmosphere.

Floor-to-ceiling glass
lets the natural light fill the reception area of the spa giving way to
incredible views across the lush surroundings. The quite ambiance inside the
spa leaves guests feeling instantly relaxed and soothed.

The bleached wood floors, the smart cream sofas and smooth
mahogany walls compliment the wide space of the spa. I am welcomed with a warm smile and folded hands, a
tradition that Vivanta follows. The humble attitude at the Jiva Spa matches the opulent décor.

The herbal tea offered to me is made with
jaggery and basil that instantly soothes my senses with its aroma and taste.

Every aesthetician at the Jiva Spa is trained under the expert guidance culminated from the Jiva tradition of well being.
A sleek corridor is flanked by dim lights that lead you to
four treatment rooms. As you reach the midway, a luxurious washroom opens up
with locker facilities. The showers at Jiva Spa gives you two different type of
experience – mist and rain that is indeed an experience to indulge.
The spacious changing room has towels and grooming stations
complete with hairdryers and other toiletries. The plush handmade robes made
with pure cotton glide on the body giving a heavenly experience and the jute
slippers give the feet an airy space that feels incredible.
Incorporating the traditional theme throughout its extensive
treatment rooms, the Jiva Spa focuses on the best of age old healing
traditions. I select the Ananalepa facial – made with kitchen ingredients devoid of any artificial preservatives, it maintains a supple fresh and glowing complexion.
The facial experience @Jiva Spa from start to finish was
enchanting. The therapy room was a beautiful wide room, with enough light for
the treatment to go smoothly. My therapist, who hails from the North East
gently asks me to lie on my back while I get ready to be taken to wonderland.
Natural ingredients for a flawless skin – Jiva’s secret
For the first few minutes she gently applies pressure to my
shoulders. The powerful therapeutic blend of oils target my skin as
the soothing essence of natural ingredients work their magic. She starts with the natural cleansing session
with Aloe vera, raw milk and Vetiver oil, massaging the ingredients gently into
the skin.
The aloe vera juice is a natural way to remove sunburn,
while raw milk lightens the skin tone.
After about ten minutes of gentle cleasing, she wipes the ingredients with a warm
towel  followed by an exfoliant mask made
with buttermilk and honey. The scrub is gently massaged into the skin ensuring
every region on the face is taken care of.
Later, it is cleansed off with a warm towel followed by a massage with
aloe vera and papaya juice.I go in my deeply relaxed state, thanks to her methodical
hand motions.
Finally, a masque made with fullers earth, grated cucumber is
applied  to help promote relaxation and
soothe the nerves. I come back to the present with a gentle tug from my therapist who ushers me back to the locker room. I am a renewed person with skin that looked radiant and glowing.
