Chalet by Rampur – a luxury getaway in Sariska

If you love wide open spaces and sprawling greenery with breathtaking views of mountains, then you must head to Sariska’s Rampur Chalets, a dreamy estate situated in the heart of the Sariska.

Barely 4 hours away from Delhi, this luxury farm resort is the perfect getaway with friends and families.

Life slows down and takes a peaceful turn at this luxury resort located within pastoral countryside which soothe your eyes and please your senses. Here you can stroll around the gardens, taste farm-to-table cuisines and look onto green pastures dotted with gently grazing animals.

Green pastures, a bright blue sky, and countless vibrant colors abound at this luxurious resort tucked amidst nature, far from the maddening chaos of the city. Arriving at Chalet by Rampur in Sariska feels like entering a traditional farm yard. This property is an incredibly well-preserved place. The best part is that it is pet friendly so you can bring your furry babies along.

The place is literally a storybook escape from modern life. Surrounding the property is an organic farm from where succulent meals are curated – giving a rustic farm to fork experience for guests. The resort spans 8 acres and is designed as a self sustaining eco-system.

With its open micro-climate, it is a natural haven for several species of birds, bees and butterflies. Outside the resort, there is a farmland where cows roam freely.

Entering into the reception we were greeted by the warm staff.  The sprawling green landscaping and the adjoining golf course look very alluring. The rooms are located along the pathway and have a lovely entrance of blooming flowers.

Rooms

Huge living rooms with soft drapes flowing and comfortable sofas with a dining set complete the look. The master bedroom comes with king size beds with soft mattresses, comfortable pillows and a soft duvet.

The property is endearing because of its stylish layout and luxurious interiors featuring French windows that usher in the sunlight in each room.

The attached washrooms are spacious and come with a wide wardrobe for keeping clothes. There is a nice big washbasin, rain shower and luxury toiletteries that  make the bathing experience enjoyable. A huge glass is an added advantage that helps you to get ready in the washroom itself.

Dining

The all day dining restaurant offers a plethora of options that cover Indian and continental dishes. We enjoyed their buffet options which included breads, cakes, eggs made to order, idlis, paranthas, curd and beverages.

Recreation

They have a fully functional pool on the terrace that overlooks the green pastures and allows guests to soak in the sunlight during warm winters afternoons. The staff arranges high tea on request. A lake inside the property looks endearing with a lovely backdrop of the aravali ranges.

There is a pool table, table tennis and carrom for indoor games lovers, while people who love outdoors can enjoy trekking with a guide. 

There are places nearby that one can explore like dam and a temple that are within 20 kms of range. The roads are decent and you can explore in your own vehicle.

The resort also organizes a dance performance by the local artisans who give the best with their folk music and dance. We loved their performance and danced along with them.

Conclusion

Although there is a bumpy ride of a kilometer, but once you reach the destination, it’s worth the ride. The place is overall excellent in terms of hospitality, views and activities. The price range is suitable and within range with the facilities that come with the package. While coming from Delhi, you can come via Bhiwadi.
