massage is one of the most preferred treatment for improving eyesight,
longevity, sleep and healthy skin. It is done by applying herbal oil on head,
neck, ears, shoulders, chest and back. The second preferred treatment is Siro
Dhara which gives an overall benefit for the body and mind while delaying the
ageing process. The person is made to lie on a wooden bed with the whole body
smeared with medicated oil. A herbal concoction in milk is poured on the
forehead gently and swayed sideways throughout for about 40 minutes. The
concoction goes deep inside the roots of the hair and enlivens every cell in
the brain making the person fall asleep. This soothing massage is usually
followed by a warm bath with a chemical free soap and shampoo that refreshes
and relaxes every nerve in the body.
