Park Plaza, Delhi CBD hosted a Lucknowi
food festival that was a true amalgamation of flavors and aroma at Chingari,
its Indian specialty Restaurant. The restaurant has an aroma that invigorates
the senses as you step inside. The soft hues on the walls, the dim lights, the
men clad in pathani suits give a visual treat to the eyes that transcend you to
the city of Nawabs.

The traditional Indian décor with
objects d’art represent the beautiful North West India, while accentuating the
delectable aromas of Awadhi cuisine. We came to review the ongoing
Lucknowi food festival held in the restaurant.

Luckhnowi food festival
The 10 day Luckhnowi food
festival that was from 20th August to 30th August was
priced at a nominal price of INR 650/.
We were introduced to the man
behind the flawless creation of the menu – Master Chef Qureshi who was flown all the way from Lucknow to
pamper taste buds of Delhi with the best of vegetarian and non-vegetarian
culinary exquisite. He works as a culinary consultant Chef for Luckhnowi cuisine
and has a professional experience
with renowned hotels &  restaurants
in India and Abroad.
The aroma of the scrumptious food
ignited my appetite and I was all set to sail towards Lucknow. After a welcome
drink in the form of Aam panna, we began the lip smacking delectable journey with
some delicious starters.
We were served delicious starters
like the Lucknow special Kakori Kebab, Galauti Kebab,Murg Ke Parche,Shami
Kebab,Sunheri Khasta. Extremely tender and mouth watering, the starters created
a symphony that continued to linger for a long time.
The main course that followed was
Nali Nihari,Awadhi Murg Korma ,Nizami Handi ,Dal Sultani, and Dum Biryani. We concluded
the food festival with desserts like Balai Ka Tukra,Chakundar Ki
Kheer,Mujjaffar that equally justified the traditional Lucknow aromas and
flavors.

The experience at Chingari was
delightful as we got to taste the finest vegetarian and non-vegetarian culinary
traditions while enjoying  the gracious
presentation offered  by a team of
skilled craftsmen.
