The Big F Awards – An evening to honor the maestros of Food Industry

Food and fun becomes a delectable combination when expert chefs award the deserving candidates.
That is exactly what happened this weekend. Westin played the paerfect host to
one of the most amazing award night – The second edition of Gurgaon’s biggest
Food Awards – The Big F Awards” Gurgaon 2015.

Conceived
and organized by Indian Food Freak (www.indianfoodfreak.com),
the star studded evening at The Westin, Gurgaon unfolded the first of its kind
“Gurgaon-Centric” food awards that felicitated restaurants and people
associated with food.

 
The audience
for the awards comprised of esteemed members of Indian Food Freak and its
sister group Gurgaon Food Freak (https://www.facebook.com/groups/GurgaonFoodFreak/).
The award nominees and titans of the food industry included Celebrity Chef
Sanjeev Kapoor, the pioneer of modern Indian food innovation – Chef Manish
Mehrotra, the multi talented Chef Saby Gorai, Chef Saransh Goirala and
Masterchef Australia top contestant Sarah Todd.
 

 

The evening
started off with a bang with a stand-up comedy act by Vasu Primlani (who was
also the emcee of the award ceremony) followed by the award announcements
interspersed with enthralling performances by belly dancer Priyanka Valecha and
psychological illusionist Karan Singh. The phantasmagoric evening culminated in
a mingling of all the attendees with bonhomie while partaking of the varied
buffet generously laid out by Westin.
