Pa Pa Ya – A delectable journey of Asian Cuisine

I reviewed a lovely meal at the
newly launched restaurant called Pa Pa Ya. Located on the 4
th Floor @
Select City Walk last week this place spells class. It was an opportunity to
try excellent fusion food by the team of Zorawar Kalra.

Pa Pa Ya is a modern Asian bistro
& tapas bar from the House of Massive Restaurants and best described as a
chic, modern and radical reinterpretation of Asian cuisine.

Revolutionizing
the pan-Asian dining experience, Pa Pa Ya is an assimilation of various cooking
techniques and cultures found across the Asian continent.
The Restaurant is set out with
great intentions. Zorawar Kalra, clearly a lover of great food and wine, wanted
to bring the best of the best to his restaurant. Pa Pa Ya  is spacious, cosy, with lovely wooden
surfaces.
The design is stunningly intimate
and cozy. You will be wowed by the high ceiling that add mystery and vibrancy
to the space. The outdoor is filled with a spacious place to hang out while
enjoying the unobstructed panoramic views of the mall.
The distinctively unique design
and the unequaled interior are complete in itself.  The evening started with a warm welcome by the
staff. The bar near the entrance is as vibrant as the rest of the space.
We were served Crispy
corn curd accompanied with a generous array of Crispy corn curd antipasti – a
spread of Takoyaki, leek and water chestnuts and Edamame chickpea sliders.

The Takoyaki
was hard to resist. The Asian magharitta pizza was perfectly done and so were the crispy lotus stem. I loved the variety of sushi especially.

My fancy was the oysters that made me fall in the love with them instantly.

I loved everything about the
review – the careful throwing of great ingredients together, where nothing
extra is added other than attentiveness.

It is highly imperative to use the
perfect quality of ingredients to come up with something innovative and Papaya
has it all sorted.
