Courtyard by Marriott Aravali - A Luxury pet friendly resort near Delhi

Old, young and all in between will find endless ways to have the most amazing time at this luxurious resort, barely 1 hour away from Gurgaon.

The welcome

I took my daughter at this beautiful resort on daughter’s day, since we had heard some amazing feedback from friends who had visited before. It was without a doubt one of our best stays. Upon arrival we were greeted the staff members with a garland. Not only did they welcome us with warmth, but they also showered love on our little furry baby, instantly scoring brownie points to make him feel at home.

The interior of the resort is flawless with soft tones, high-quality finishes and a welcoming vibe to make the stay as enjoyable as can be. The grand reception area, complete with floor to ceiling windows and comfrotable sofas invite the guests to relax, while the formalities of the check in are taken care of at the front desk.

Accommodation

The resort with 158 keys comes excusively with balconies, offering the most specatucular views of landscaped gardens, pool or the aravali ranges.

We checked in our room that was on the ground floor. The room was exceptionally large with 2 comfortable double beds, chairs with table, and a huge mounted LCD TV. While the design was traditional, there was also every necessary piece of tech, like the ultra-modern wall TV, USB points at each side of the bed, Bluetooth, high tech super-efficient air conditioning.

The soundproofing was fantastic with the traditional doors being supplemented by inner double glazing for extra noise protection. The floor to ceiling sliding windows opened up to a huge garden with ample space to walk around, making it perfect for kids and pets to enjoy.

The bathroom had plenty of space, an indoor shower, enough space for luggage, clothes, an iron board. It was well equipped with luxury toiletries, soft towels, two sets of robes and slippers and everything else you could possibly want.

The bed was decorated with towel art and flowers; a small round bed for our furry baby with treats and toys was also placed to welcome him the same way. From the endless array of welcome goodies on the table to the small touches of a personalized card with a photocard, everything felt magical in the room.

Dining

The hotel has The main restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, a Chinese restaurant and a coffee shop. Breakfast at the restaurant is excellent, as well as the continental buffet (cereals, yoghurts, fruits, cheese, fresh bread and cakes).

There was always a full choice of English breakfast, South Indian breakfast that included fresh dosas and idlis. Besides this, there were North Indian food choices and a live station of eggs.

The chef also curated a thaali called Ballabgarh thaali, where there were indigenous flavors combined together and create a soul stirrring exprience. The taste was undoubtedly the best we have experienced.

The resort also has a uniquely style bar near the poolside where guests can enjoy mocktails and cocktails while soaking in the views and enjoying a nice dip. The poolside also has a spacious lawn where high-tea is served for guests in a chaupal setting. There are interesting activities like pottery making, games like tambola and musical chairs to keep the families entertained. We dabbled in pottery making and loved the experience.

There was an exclusive dinner set up for us by the poolside, that was simply remarkable. The chef had prepared a 5 course meal for us to enjoy, that started with a hearty soup, followed by an innovative amuse bouche, main course and ended with a divine chocolate surprise.

Facilities & Service

Service throughout the hotel was exceptional. Besides the huge swimming pool there is also a full gym with personal training available. A luxury spa called Nilaya caters to your wellness requirements.

Guests can enjoy a nice relaxing massage in their well appointed rooms and dive into a sanctuary of comfort and relaxation. The welcoming detox drink offered at the spa paves way for a rejuvenating therapy. You can also enjoy a steam and sauna later.

As with everything in the hotel, this entire space is beautifully appointed and very well maintained. You can enjoy a cycle ride from the resort and take in the breathtaking scenic views.

Outdoor activities like trekking and curated village walks are the most exciting experiences we came across. Hiking on the top of the hills to witness a breathtaking sunrise was something we cherished. The resort planned breakfast on top of the hill with a basket full of fruits, muffins, sandwiches and tea to enjoy while soaking in the view and the reverberating silence.

The resort also has a kitchen garden and organic farming, where vegetables are grown for curating healthy cuisines. The ample space allows weddings and conferences to happen seamlessly.
