SPIRITZ 2016 – Two Days of Food, Drinks, Music & Fun

All roads in Delhi –
NCR led to Spiritz 2016 event held at hotel Leela Ambience Gurgaon on November
25 & 25, 2016.

The 3rd
edition of Spiritz annual event turned out to be a much bigger, brighter and
fun-filled affair than its previous avatars. These two days were rare when a majority
of liquor & wine industry assembled under one roof for two days; where
companies show cased their brands, served tastings to the consumers, engaged in
cerebral discussions on variety of crucial subject and enjoyed foot tapping
numbers from a famous brand from Goa, Brothers in Arms. The guests enjoyed
delectable gourmet treats and appetising drinks to savour while enjoying music
and dance.
 

The two days of SPIRITZ
2016 offered participating companies easy access to hundreds of invited end-consumers,
walking in with their families and friends to enjoy beverages on offer. The
event brought to the light many new brands, brought consumers closer to
different brands and introduced many new facets of different brands.

 
The multiple activities
including Chef’s Challenge, curated by three celebrity chefs Nishant Choubey,
Neeeraj Tyagi and Neeraj Rawoot saw big attendance and five teams took up the
challenge to create dishes out of given ingredients. The winners were given
prizes.
 
Similarly the Food
Pairing Lunch with Chandon India conducted by Moet Hennessey’s Brand Ambassador
Rohan Jelkie, Beer Experience of Witlinger beer by Ishan Grover (Ishan Grover,
Master Brewer – RJ Brewing Solutions)  and Master Class by Diageo USL’s Brand
Ambassador (North India )  Ajay Nayyar Ces’t
Lavi were well attended and
much appreciated by the select guests who were invited to attend.
 
“The idea behind Spiritz event is to bring the companies and
consumers closer in a fun-filled atmosphere and create a memorable experience. The
turn out this year was much more than we had expected,” said Bishan Kumar, Group
Editor & Director of Blue Ink Media Pvt Ltd (publisher of Spiritz magazine),
which is organising this event in association with its sister company, Rasha
Solutions.
 
At the beginning of
award ceremony, noted flairlogy artists team of Pankaj Kamble and Sachin Gowda
wowed the audience with their mesmerising acts. The awards were sombre affairs
where total 63 awards were conferred on the people and companies in different categories.
The whole hall, packed to its strength broke into thunderous applause when
industry’s one of the oldest professional S S Gandhi was bestowed with the “Legend
of the industry” award by Ambassador of Ecuador Excellency Méntor Villagómez. Many
eyes were wet, some rushed to the stage to shake Gandhi’s hands, while many
touched his feet.

Ambience, Gurgaon played its part of the host with absolute finesse and
perfection and the gala dinner food spread was a treat to remember. “Spiritz 2016 was a
great opportunity for the trade partners to connect directly and closely with the
target audience through
a right platform and keep their
brands in the consumer focus for two days. We have created a platform for the
industry and now we wish industry consider this event as its own and utilise
this platform with greater participation,” said Shalini Kumar, Editor, Spiritz.
