Onesta – Love for Italian food

Ambience Mall Gurgaon has some amazing
restaurants to indulge in. But I would highly recommend the latest Italian Restaurant
– Onesta as the best place to indulge in some Italian food. As you reach the fourth level of
the mall, you are welcome with warm hospitable staff that is ready to serve you with love.

The place is illuminated with bright light and plants that are well spread
and usher in greenery throughout. There are full length windows at
the end of the restaurant that display the moving traffic on the NH 8 Gurgaon.  The place displays artistic finesse, while the
spacious chairs ooze repose. There is an ample space for couples and large
seating areas for big family gathering.

Onesta also boasts of a Fresco dining
area outdoors which is a big favorite for romantic couples. However, the highlight is the drinks area,
where you can watch the performance of maestros in disguise who craft exotic mocktails
and juices that are a treat for the eyes. You cannot miss the artistic
performances of the geniuses at work who prepare fresh drinks.

I was welcomed by the Italian Chef
Armando who has a wide experience of serving guests with
his palette pleasing dishes throughout the world. His knowledge is fabulous and
the laughter contagious.
The well traveled chef introduced me to the fine
flavors of the authentic Italian meal that made me fall in love with Italian
cuisine.
The staff @ Onesta is very well
versed and trained about the dishes. While I was admiring the decor of the
restaurant, an assorted platter of fresh breads with a garlic dip was served –
a succulent start indeed.
We began the culinary odyssey
with a hearty pizza called the Farmhouse Pizza. The Thin crust pizza is
definitely a good spin on the conventional rubbed pizzas, complete with capsicum,
tomatoes, and bell peppers. It was succulent to eat. The Pizza was gone in a
few seconds and satiated us to a level impossible to express. Next we ordered a
platter of bruchettas. 
 
The Bruschetta had toasted Bread
Slice, Tomato, mushroom and spinach. We loved the mushroom bruschetta the most
and devoured it till the last bite. Before the antispati, I devoured some
fresh beetroot juice that helped to cleanse the palate, and primed my taste buds
for the main course to follow. We ordered for some Prawn and Ricotta Raviolli, minced
chicken Lasagne, Penne Al Pesto and Penne al’arrabbiata.
The highlight of the review was
the Ricotta Ravioli, which simply stole my heart. The assorted ravioli had the
right balance of herbs and seasonings.
It occurred to me that Ravioli can be
spicy, active and playful. For pasta lovers, the Penne Al
Pesto is highly recommended which has the right balance of herbs and sauces.
The dish showcased innovative
flavors and textures, but simmered down in comparison with the Penne al’arrabbiata
that had a moist texture inviting me to finish the dish to the last bite.
 I loved the entire odyssey at Onesta
and devoured the dishes. The dishes are high in taste and great in
presentation.
