Colorama by Art Tree @ Vivanta By Taj Dwarka

Vivanta by Taj – Dwarka, the latest entrant to
the Taj family in Delhi-NCR, presents Colorama by Art Tree, an
attempt to promote various art forms in the country and support artists and
their work. The six months long art show, a one of its kind initiative, will
showcase artworks across the property.

Curated by Ms. Pragati Agarwal, Colorama by Art
Tree aims to provide a platform for new age artists to showcase their work in
the hotel through an interactive and accessible format. These artists have been
handpicked basis their creativity and vision and keeping the contemporary style
and avant-garde architecture of Vivanta by Taj- Dwarka in mind.

In sync with
the design philosophy of the Hotel, the artists have worked on limited edition
pieces interpreting the jagged angles, geometric patterns and modern
architecture using their respective mediums.

Colorama by Art Tree at Vivanta by Taj – Dwarka will promote
the concept of ‘group exhibition’ where the curator will bring together artists
who work with various mediums to put up a combined show. This unique concept
will bring canvas, tapestry and sculpture in ceramic and bronze along with
other forms of art under one roof.
The Hotel will also host several workshops and interactive
sessions with the artists for the guests at the hotel. An earnest attempt
to bring contemporary art of various new age artists from across the country to
patrons in an interactive set up, Colorama by Art Tree will have many talented
artists like A Shreedharan, who specializes in
geometric abstract a lesser known technique in India to Dhyan Passika,
a practicing Buddhist who has created soulful paintings that reveal
introspection of self. Madhur Sen an acclaimed
artist known to combine sculpture and pottery to develop new forms of
expression will also showcase her works along with Pankaj Nigam, Radhika Surana and Sourabh Mazumdar.
Ms. Pragati Agarwal, Curator added, “Our
endeavor is to reach out to all art lovers as art is not just for a select few.
The aim of Art Tree is to reach out to the non-gallery going art lovers and
help promote the artists both artistically and commercially.”
