Artisans – A Luxury Salon

For all those who love luxurious
pampering at salons, visit the latest entrant Artisans – a luxury salon that
has kick started the pulse of Dwarka. Being a resident in this sub city for
almost two decades I had been compromising on beauty salons. But with Artisans,
I know where to go and enjoy being pampered.

Opened barely months back by a very young and futuristic woman Ashima Arora, this
salon has some amazing facts that had me bewildered. Besides the fact
that it is strategically located near the Modern Bazaar, sector 12, it has a very unconventional design that appeal to the guests immediately.
A flight of few steps take you
to a luxurious haven that has a decent reception and smiling girls welcoming you. The
spa has been divided into different stations to let in space and make the guest
feel comfortable and offer them privacy.
An interesting fact is
also that the shape of the salon is like a woman with a curvaceous body. The mauve
hues on the wall are rugged and interpret a rather passionate story about the
place.

Large windows usher in natural light, while the outside wall covered with plants
looks surreal. There is an area for spa as well which is beautifully done and evoke a calming
sensation. The pedicure station is kept in the corner for undisturbed services.



The beauty services – 
 
I booked a head massage. The head massage with olive oil
is a therapy in itself.  The oil is
massaged in the roots. My neck and shoulders are given equal attention as they are gently massaged.
I was transcended into heaven as I could feel the relaxation flowing in my
head, shoulders and back. A hot towel was placed on my head to ensure the oil
seeps in the follicles and is absorbed well.
I moved towards the pedicure
station for my next luxury indulgence. I booked a Lotus Crystal Spa– Rose
flavor pedicure and manicure. In the pedicure area,
comfortable massage chairs are lined up side by side.
My massage chair was so
relaxing that I simply wanted to sink into it.  The luxury pedicure is an hour long treatment,
beginning with the feet being bathed in bubbles.
Cuticle cream was applied on my
toe nails followed by some scraping action. Legs and feet were exfoliated with the
Rose Crystals before being placed in warm water. A thick layer of mask was applied
followed by a lotion for intense moisturizing. Later, he silently kneads my
toes, feet, ankles, calves and knees until I’m almost asleep. When he’s done,
there isn’t even an inkling of a sore muscle.
The similar pattern is followed
with hands. The crystals are applied in the end allowing sloughing off dead
cells. The cuticles and cleaned and preened, followed by a luxury massage of
the hands, and the elbows that is immensely relaxing and thereuptic. My feet and hands were gleaming and I felt refreshed and relaxed.
