Cafe & Fine Dining - Laidback Shalom Sangam Courtyard

Delhi is now stepping out with full zeal and re-living the dining experience again. The newly opened restrobar Laidback Shalom brings to diners a mélange of cuisine along with an amalgamation of good food. The relaxed environment, cool ambiance and a pleasant alfresco dining is an experience worth indulging in. Located on the top floor of Sangam Courtyard, this place has a cafe and a restrobar both.

Covid Protocols @ Laidback Shalom –

The best part about this place is that the Covid protocols are well taken care. Each table is has sanitizers and the servers are well equipped with gloves and masks.

You can delight your taste buds and savor every bit of the fine dining experience with ease and without worry.

Laidback Shalom has an outdoor and an indoor sitting area. We loved and enjoyed both the spaces.

The alfresco experience is resplendent of a beautiful and soothing English styled café space. Lamp posts, comfortable sofas, large wall paining, murals on the walls and Turkish carpets take you to a magnificent era.

The cocktails are worth indulging. We tried the strawberry martini and watermelon sangria and relished the flavors.

The indoor space has a very cozy vibe. Framed moments adorning the walls, comfortable chairs, large roomy couches dotted across the indoors space add beauty to the café. A large screen playing foot tapping numbers make the experience worthwhile.

You can tantalize your taste buds with an array of dishes from across the world. Take your pick from a vast assortment of breakfast options or explore favorites like soups, salads, burgers or pizza. The culinary offerings don’t just end there; there are global cuisine favorites like hummus, garlic bread, falafels, chicken wings and tikkas. Laidback Shalom has signature Moroccan dishes like veg and non-veg platters that can be relished for lunch or dinners.

We loved their citrus rocket and kasundi salad. Lettuce playfully mingled with citrus fruits and tossed with strawberry and kasundi mustard dressing. This is a highly suggested salad as it has the citrus flavors balanced well with vegetables so well that it melts in your mouth as you take the first bite. We continued the culinary odyssey with grilled chicken and fish that impressed us with the dressing and presentation.

The symphony of colors and taste in each dish create an epiphany that lasts for a longer time. Visit this place for an experience that whisks you to on a culinary odyssey and satiates your palette.
