United Coffee House Rewind, Cyber Hub – Classic combination of presentation and flavor

In this year, there is one
restaurant that particularly enticed me; one which I think has the potential to
make a mark in the annals of Gastronomy – The United Coffee House Rewind.
After the humungous success of
United Coffee House in CP, The United Coffee house Rewind opened its doors to
food lovers in Cyber Hub, Gurugram.

The restaurant has a classic combination of
flavors that veer away from classical cooking, which I found both subtle and
thrilling in equal measure.

First Impressions

The space truly is a blessing,
with a cover of almost 75 seats and has an attached wine bar that is open
through the day. The ambiance has an air of maturity and modernity, yet is
casual enough for you to feel at ease. There are accents of upscale design such
as a classic chandelier and the exposed concrete, but these are softened by the
mid-century touches, the polished wooden tables, through to the wide glass
windows that usher in natural light.
The UCH Rewind menu is loosely
framed around starters, main course and beverages with a variety of selections
in each, suiting diners.
The Food Review

The bar menu is huge, with
different labels on offer, and a strong emphasis on wines. There is also a good
selection of cocktails, mocktails, exotic teas and coffees.
The Review started off by a mushroom
soup and herb tomato basil soup. I must credit the chef and team for the
fabulous presentation of the soups. They were both delectable and had equal
measures of ingredients.
We tried starters of Greek and
Quinoa salad. The salads were well presented and tasted delightfully rich in
flavor.  My main course of grilled river
sole was subtle on flavor. The fish was well cooked and complemented by the
excellent lemon sauce.
We also indulged in the Tuscan
melt sandwich and UCH club sandwiches. Both of them are fantastic, simply
grilled and filled with the perfect dressings and herbs.
All you need to savor
the succulent, incredibly crisp breads and above all the delicious fillings. We
devoured them whole heartedly. I ordered a Jamun drink.
The unconventional essence
was the drink spiced with chaat masala which complimented the naughty flavor.  For dessert we tried the Broadway Baked cheese
cake which was perfect in presentation and taste.
I ordered their signature Cona
coffee – presented in a very unique way. The aroma and taste almost whisked me
off to the South – the land of coffee beans.
I have to add in the service was
exceptionally great and on time and we enjoyed the review immensely.
This place is highly recommended
one because of the signature drinks, salads and coffees.
