There are numerous salons in the city, but very rare do you come across a salon that has a combination of style and ambiance with a dash of excellent hospitality. The icing on the cake is the line of products that are organic and free from chemicals. Last week as I was walking in GK 2 M Block market, I visited the Rosevan Organics and was welcomed very warmly by the lovely owner – Rosetta Williams. Opened barely few days back, the organic salon had already garnered attention from people and was becoming a sensational hit.
The Ambiance
Plush lounge chairs and a golden ceiling compliment the soothing environment of Rosevan, while the warm hues on the wall exude a cool ambiance. The staff here is friendly, smiling and makes you feel comfortable.
Pedicure – Feet Pampering
Me and my daughter were politely ushered to the pedicure station for a pedicure. In the pedicure studio, comfortable chairs are lined up side by side with fashion magazines on the table to keep guests entertained whilst the feet are primped and preened. The pedicure was by far the best experience ever. It is an hour long treatment, beginning with the feet being bathed in bubbles.
Cuticle cream was applied on my toe nails followed by some scraping action. Legs and feet were exfoliated before being placed in warm water.
Later, he silently kneads my toes, feet, ankles, calves and knees until I’m almost asleep. When he’s finished, there isn’t even an inkling of a sore muscle. After the indulgent foot massage I move for the head wash, where the the scalp and the hair is cleansed with a gentle shampoo and conditioner. After the blow dry my hair felt soft and beautiful. I was impressed by the services and talked to Rosetta where she talked very passionately about her skin center. It was wonderful to know how she single handedly manages the center with such finesse and composure.
