Fruit forest – For a healthy start

Settled in the bustling area of
Gurgao is Fruit forest that spells a fruit odyssey. As you enter the
restaurant, a refreshing green hue greets the eyes. The vibrant décor looks
fresh with a visual treat of desserts, fresh sandwiches, salads, toasties and
wraps all well displayed. The open kitchen here reveals the making of delicious
blends and smoothies.

Fresh vegetables and fruits neatly stacked on the wall
add to the visual appeal. The menu at Fruit forest has a gamut of options based
on fruits.

We started with fresh fruit
juices. Concoctions made with Kiwi, orange, honey and Pineapple, watermelon,
Orange were the best choice to satiate our thirst. The first drink made with
fresh kiwi was holistic and healthy while the latter made with fresh watermelon
was tangy and sweet. We ordered a Farfelle salad made with fresh cherry tomatoes,
mushrooms and bell peppers. The mayonnaise in the salad did not sabotage the
crispiness of fruits.
Next we ordered a wrap made with soyabean chop, sesame
and spicy peanut butter which looked appealing. The soya bean chop and herbs melt
in the mouth exuding freshness. Another wrap we ordered was the cottage cheese
peri peri wrap which is a favorite here. The fresh cottage cheese mixed with
cabbage is light and delicious. We rounded it off with a specialty of Fruit
Forest – Fruit Faluda. Made with fresh fruits, honey, chopped almonds, ice
creams and faluda, it surprises you at each bite. Fruits melted in ice cream seem
divine as every spoonful gives justice to the smallest piece.
Reasonably priced and decent food
makes Fruit forest a great destination for a date, casual meet-up or a
corporate get together.
