masseur at Pullman is well trained in traditional and conventional massages. So
guests do not have to worry about anything at all. A small inquiry form is
required to fill in while checking in the spa in case of any ailment.

The
spa manager is quick to understand the particular dosha type (in Ayurveda,
dosha refers to the body type) of the customer and thereby briefs the masseurs
about the type of massage. The therapy room looks scintillating with warm tone
of colors and soothing music giving a breathtaking view of the poolside. The
rooms are well equipped with a dressing table, a large jacuzzzi and shower area
to cleanse off and refresh.

Although
all the massages are worth trying, the Abhyangam massage is the signature
therapy that should not be missed.

The
treatment begins with a foot massage through a bowl of warm water; the guest is
then ushered to the massage bed. Abhyangam, a full body massage begins with
light massage beginning from the legs and then moving upwards. Soft strokes
that are gently applied seem relaxing and initiate a deep slumber.

Shirodhara treatment – Blissful!

A
shirodhara with butter milk is also recommended if the guest is usually
stressed. The treatment involves trickling of oil gently that is swayed
sideways on the forehead. This treatment
is perfect to cure any headache as it gently sweeps away stress and strain.

The
treatment is followed by a refreshing shower that opens the pores of the skin.
The refreshing experience can be further enhanced with a warm cup of ginger
tea.
