If Nature and wilderness is something you are looking for, then Brys Caves is the best option.  Located in the pristine surroundings and untouched natural surroundings,  Brys Caves is a luxurious resort in the heart of the jungle. Based on the theme of a cave, this resort is ideal for as adventurous/romantic getaway.  

The 2 acre resort affords visitors an extraordinary view of the mountains.  With its picturesque panorama, this highly exclusive luxury property has 40 elegantly designed Caves that offer single, double and twin options to suit your choice. There are 16 Deluxe Caves , 16 Executive Caves, 2 Shivalik Caves, 2 King Caves, 2 Queen Caves and 2 Grand Tree Houses .

Serenity in the lap of Nature

Brys Caves is approximately 5 hours away from Delhi which makes it a preferred weekend getaway from the Delhi chaos.  The location in the heart of nature makes you feel completely cut off from the world and connected with Nature.

Once you cross Ramnagar, you reach a check post where you can park your vehicle and board their jeep for an adventurous ride of a kilomtere. The terrain is rough, but the view is breathtaking.

Once you reach the place, a warm welcome at the reception tends to take away your tiredness leaving you refreshed and vibrant. The air seems so pure all around that it is impossible to feel sluggish.

The welcome drink and warm towels take away the traces of the travel exertion even further. Guests are guaranteed total peace and quiet, interrupted only by birdsong and the murmur of the breeze.

As a fan of exclusive, calm locations, I was truly enchanted by the serenity of this place.

Refined Caves

Spread out amidst a natural setting of trees, the luxury resort’s spectacular rooms blend in perfectly with the cave theme, with enough space between them to ensure a peaceful experience for every guest. We stayed in the Grand Tree House which features a chic, designer setting that has minimalist décor and bright colors that complimented the natural surroundings.  

The Tree house has a living room, two spacious bedrooms with attached washrooms.  It continues onto a terrace, where guests can take advantage of the sun and the mild climate. I especially liked the washrooms that were equipped with Jacuzzis.  The wide beds with soft mattresses and extra soft pillows are perfect for a comfortable snooze.

It is very easy to relax at the Brys Caves with its idyllic environment. You can enjoy bathing in their lavish pool or book a therapeutic massage in their spa. I preferred to book an appointment at the spa to de-stress.

Well Manicured gardens

Brys caves has amazing gardens to boast of. Their wide variety of plants and flowers usher in more tranquility for the senses and a pleasant view to the eyes. We loved having our evening tea in their beautiful gardens that had wooden base chairs and tables. 

Spa – Tranquility in the Caves

The spa at Brys Caves is a perfect place for recharging your batteries.  Equipped with two spa rooms, jaccuzzi and steam, the spa is a haven for people looking to de-stress and relax the senses. I loved the ambiance of the spa as I walked in. The cave like structure covers the entire spa area ushering in peace and comfort. I opted for the aroma oil therapy for an hour long session and loved every bit of the session. The spa is a highly recommend session for ladies as they have excellent masseuse from North East who are well practiced in the art of massages. They ensure you get relaxation at the optimum level and leave the spa with a smiling face.

Pool and Gym

The gym is well equipped with the latest machines, while the pool offers a beautiful experience while taking in the scenic surroundings.  They have relaxing lounge chairs to simply enjoy the vibe and feel the cool breeze.

Indian and Continental Recipes at the Restaurant

In the evening, we had the pleasure of dining at their multi-cuisine restaurant. There, guests can savor traditional cuisine with Mediterranean flavors.  We also enjoyed a lovely glass of virgin mojito, chosen from the fantastic selection of mocktails proposed by the restaurant. As for the ambiance, the restaurant has an ultra-romantic ambience that swept us off our feet. The following morning, we returned to the dining room for a delicious breakfast buffet, offering the best traditional and continental dishes.

Recreation – indoors

While there are a plethora of activities under one roof to keep the guests occupied, my recommendation goes for their table tennis activity.

They also have children’s play areas to keep naughty minds occupied while parents can indulge in some time together.  They also call local guitarists to entertain in-house guests while serving them snacks and tea. We loved the combination of great music and excellent dishes.

The disc is also the main attraction. Their in-house DJ plays interesting numbers that would make anyone dance.

Recreation – Outdoor activities

Brys Caves organizes nature walks and treks that helps guests to connect with nature better. I went for a small trek with the local guide who made me walk a small trail. I was lost in the silence of the atmosphere and loved gazing at the flowing stream. 

The resort organizes jeep safaris for guests to explore the jungle and track animals. We went to a nearby village that had gigantic mountains and a beautiful stream flowing.  It was ecstatic.

What we loved the most

 

  • Perfect for a couple’s getaway,  corporate get-togethers, weekend retreat or a re-union
  • Architecture that blends in perfectly with nature and the fantastic panorama.  The diligence and creativity that the founders have incorporated is flawless and worth appreciating.
  • The well manicured lawns blend in so beautifully well with the natural surroundings that you are completely absorbed in the scenery.
  • The low connectivity of mobiles is somehow a blessing as it simply tends you to cut off from the work stress and helps you to connect with nature.
  • Contemporary, refined, sophisticated décor, in the reception, waiting areas, dining or the rooms.  
  • The service of the staff is prominent and accurate. We were impressed how cheerful and hospitable each staff member of the resort is. Their service and warmth reflect the precision taken by the resort in grooming each member so well.

Thanks to the amazing configuration, the resort actually resembles a cave with luxury amenities to add comfort to the guests.
