Around the world in 7 days – Le Méridien showcases a unique combination of art and coffee

Le Méridien New Delhi surely
makes everything seem delightful with its events and showcases. The recently concluded
Coffeeart event on the 28
th June 2015 reaffirmed its commitment to
coffee culture. The event showcased a promising and unique conjugation of modern
art, latte art and eclairs to celebrate a week long coffee extravaganza called
“Around the world in 7 days”.

The Coffee Week event that went
on from 22nd-28th June, was a celebration by the brand
all over the world with all things Coffee. Le Meridien New Delhi in partnership
with Palette Art Gallery organized a walkthrough of paintings and installations
by contemporary artists such as G.R Iranna, Suparna Mondal, Binoy Varghese,
Rajesh Ram,Sandeep Jigdung and others. The brilliant Master Baristas, Mahima
Malhotra and Rahul Tewari treated guests to a unique and interactive latte art
performance by recreating the impression of the Taj Mahal, India Gate, Buddha,
peacock etc., on a cup of latte.

There were guests and bloggers who were
assisited with the coffee art and got a chance to re-invent theirn artistic
side. The theme being Delhi, it was a fascinating experience for everyone to
showcase their love for the city. While some drew the iconic marvels, others
displayed their love though words on the coffee cups.
On the other hand, it was an
absolute delight to watch the Master Baristas draw exquisite latte art designs,
who is trained under the Dutch latte champion and Le Meridien’s Global Latte
Artist, Esther Maasdam. As part of the year long coffee campaign “Inspiration
Brewed Here”, Le Meridien New Delhi has kept pace with the global week long
coffee celebration.
The world renowned pastry chef
and LM100 member, Johnny Iuzzini’s signature éclairs was also showcased. Tempting
sweet delights including the signature éclair from New Delhi, called the  ‘Darjeeling Express’ was showcased.  Leading food and beverage personalities were
intrigued to be part of this creative yet delicious session where master chefs
organized an éclair making demonstration.
