The Privé Collection @ Radisson Blu MBD Hotel, Noida – Luxury Uninterrupted!

Get a taste of the uber class
with the all new Privé Collection at Noida’s first 5-star deluxe
property – Radisson
Blu MBD Hotel.  Located strategically in
the heart of Noida, the hotel is easily accessible.

I witnessed the fabulous
newly launched floors at the grand event on Saturday, the 14th May
2016. Esteemed guests walked in to experience the charm of the beautifully designed
rooms that were re-vamped keeping in mind comfort and relaxation.

The synergy of timeless
craftsmanship and modern engineering is sure to make the MBD Privé
Collection a unique address for discerning travelers in Delhi-NCR. As I walked in the hotel, I was
ushered by a hotel representative to introduce me to the uber Privé
collection.
The ostentatious collections
of rooms were tastefully decorated to suit the distinct guest moods in the
world of luxury. What caught my eye were the astounding crafted writing desk, white glove dinner service, signature morning tea
service and signature aroma in bathtub.
As I walked down the hallway, the
customized light setting and theme music welcomed me graciously.  The tour culminated in a specially curated
dinner service with champagne and a beautiful Harp & Flute duo instrumental
live performance.
Each room is designed keeping in
mind the Venetian and French themes that add more value to the luxury factor.  Each furniture piece is bespoke and finished
meticulously with gold carvings that date back to the 1800s.
The Indian roots
are represented on the upholstery with heavy lush embroidery and authentic
‘dabka’ work on draperies and cushions.  The
subtle hues on the walls give a cool and refreshing feeling inspite of the
scorching heat outdoors.
Adding to the royal charm, the
rooms have POP-carved frames around colonial paintings, which are well
complemented by the floor with contemporary Italian wooden and stone finishes.
Each element has its own peculiarity while retaining design cohesion through
different eras thus making it ageless and offering the best of both worlds.
All
the guest rooms and suites have a collection of antique finish furniture with
elegant bathrooms and a range of impressive reclaimed beds and emperor beds
with intricate gilt bed wall canopies and bed throws.
All the decorative lights,
including goosenecks, table lamps, chandeliers and standing lamps are
hand-picked for their unique character and presence to heighten the elegance of
the elaborately designed rooms.
Quintessentially, the features in
the new range include rich fabrics, high beds with footstools, elegant bathroom
fittings, modern amenities and neoclassical carpets. The detailed craftsmanship
in ceilings and walls creates interesting design elements at the MBD Privé
Collection.
To provide the exquisite and

The gala evening had a delectable sit down dinner spread
for guests. A wide variety of salads were spread and we were spoilt for
choices.
Salads included the Clay Oven Roasted Paprika Chicken with Berry
Vinaigrette, Lemon Poached langoustine with Five Spice Dressing, Red wine
poached pear with wilted spinach and the Raw Papaya and Fresh Mango Salad in
Rice Paper Roll. The soups included Badam Ki Yakhini with Truffle Essence and the
Bouillabaisse. I relished the former one.
The main course included Char Grilled Poussin with
Bourbon Chili Glaze, Steamed Fish in Dismissa Roasted Onion and Sour Tomato Gravy, Baby
Lamb Shank Rogan josh with Saffron Risotto, Chettinad Spiced Tempura Prawns
with Aloo Jeera and Black Lentil Sauce, Courgette Musallam with Beet Root
Porial, Creamy Polenta with Shahi Khumb and Papad Crisp, Spinach
and Rice Dumplings with Coconut Stew, Vegetable Moussaka accompanied by Steamed Rice.
The scrumptious deserts had an exorbitant variety.
They included litchi Engadine and Rabri, Chocolate Dipped Marzipan and Nut Stuffed Paan Dolmas, Saffron
and Cardamom Crème Brulee. The most unconventional one was the Madras Filter
Coffee Snow Eggs with Berry Compote, which gave justice to presentation and
taste.
