Spa Oasis @ The Grand New Delhi – A little piece of Heaven

Belinda Carlisle’s ever lasting number “Heaven is a place on earth” comes in my mind, the moment I step in Spa Oasis @ the Grand New Delhi. The decadent spa is a
sanctuary of understated glamour. 

The sleek beige and white space, has
an enchanting aura that reverberated me instantly. Spread at about 13,000
square feet of space, Spa Oasis is finished with smooth marble and stone.
The vast spa also includes a swimming pool and an outpost of the top-notch hair
salon.
The spa manager ushers me to 4
different treatment rooms that have a certain feeling of warmth and charm. Each
room is dedicated to different styles of massage including Ayurveda, Thai and
Traditional massages.
I am welcomed by the
aestheticians that have a wide experience under their belts. Plush robes and
slippers helped me to glide into comfort as soon as I wore them.  The service at the spa match the opulent décor.
The Spa manager notices my skin
and advises a natural therapy treatment completely devoid of chemicals. I loved
the idea since I have a sensitive skin and catch infections quite easily. The spa odyssey chosen for me was
a Tropical Coconut Cream Therapy. The 90 minutes therapy is a tropical delight that
infuses the goodness of coconut and cashew nuts to deep cleanse the body and
thoroughly nourish every pore.
The treatment is carried out with
pure coconut cream from tender coconut. My therapist explained the various
stages of the treatment and began by putting hot towel on my feet, while she
did some light body brushing.
I could feel the coconut milk and cashew work up
their magic as she gently scrubbed them on my body in circular motions. The
exfoliating helped to shed off grime and toxins leaving a soft tender sensation
overall.
After a shower, a luxurious massage
with coconut milk in rose cream helped me to relax completely. The rose cream
with the essence of tender coconut milk spread an overall feeling of goodness
from head to toe.
She carried out a complex series of tapping and cupping
strokes. I confess by this time that I had completely lost touch with reality
and just drifted away into deep relaxation. I could feel my dry skin soaking
them in.
Body wraps are a forte at Spa Oasis,
and for immediate results, the coffee wrap is recommended. My therapist applied
coffee wrap mask which helped to tighten the skin leaving it firm and
moisturized.
The final part of the spa odyssey
was a custom facial using pure ingredients including coconut milk, kiwi, brown
sugar, papaya, honey and sweet lime juice. Twinkle, my other therapist
introduced herself and started the procedure with a clean up. She used coconut
milk to clean the make-up.

Next, a scrub made of kiwi and
brown sugar was applied on the face and with gentle scrubbing, she removed dead
skin and impurities from my face. The toner she applied next was made with lime
juice which was absolutely fresh and smelt heavenly. 

She started the facial
procedure with the pulp of papaya. Soft strokes on the face with the correct
pressure took me to a deep level of relaxation I never experienced. She sealed
the facial with a natural pack made with fruits and honey, spread on the face
with a gauze. I could feel my skin fairer and smoother with the goodness of
these natural elements that were applied so well.
