The Zerruco experience @ Grub Fest 2016

With the warm summer weather almost
bidding us goodbye, the Grub Fest came up with an interesting array of restaurants
that displayed their most loved dishes to the public. The humungous turnout of
hip youngsters dressed up their best to indulge in the most happening food
festival in the city.

The thumping music got everyone
dancing to their beats. It was a beautiful sight to watch youngsters having fun while dancing and having lip smacking delicacies at various
food stalls. After dancing continuously, I was tired and wanted to sit in a nice place and eat.
My first pick was Zerruco that
was almost luring me towards it with bright lights and brilliant music. As I
entered the beautifully decked stall, I was mesmerized to find it so
unconventional. Every corner of the stall was brightly lit. Zerruco took me to
a mystical land filled with mesmerizing music and aromatic surrounding. Adding
a touch of class was the vibrancy of colors that made guests
feel like a wanderer yet a calm observer.
We began our tryst with taste by
Chicken Shawarma and beetroot hummus. Extremely nourishing and appetizing, the shawarma was soft and succulent. It was packed with flavor and went very
well with the beetroot hummus. The vegetable falafel was a masterpiece of
softness and succulence. Served with hummus it is a complete meal in itself. We
enjoyed the masterpiece collection with some great music and peach flavored iced lemon
tree.
