The Junkyard Cafe Rajouri Garden – Junk can be fun too!

On first inspection, The Junkyard
Café seems to be distressingly familiar. Located in Rajouri Garden, the place
has started garnered attention already. The dimly lit interiors have a quirky
ambiance that is perfectly suitable for party lovers.

Wide open spaces and foot
tapping music bagged seven stars immediately. The dining space indoors
decorated with junk work and the artistic ceiling looks highly appealing.

I founded the enticing café as a
refuge or escape from the regular hectic lifestyle. In this case means you can
get scrumptious food and liquor. A keen eye for detail has been given to
delicious recipes with a dash of entertainment to unwind.

The Junkyard Café has efficient
managers and servers who run the show, marking this very much as a quirky
restaurant suitable for the young, tech-minded professionals who work hard
throughout the week.

These servers make
you feel welcomed from the start. On that evening, me and my family sampled some
of their signature dishes that went very nicely.The menu consisted of an array of
dishes, which included soups and starters.We tried the Manchow and the Hot & Sour soups. Both well done and succulent.

Chicken, Broccoli and Beetroot
salad with avocado turned out to be peppery and pleasingly tender that we all
loved. It had smoked chicken, red onion, walnut tossed in olive oil, lemon and
pineapple.

I adored the Thai Spring Roll.The crunchy covering matched well with the well done fillings of vegetables, galangal and lemon grass which were neither too crispy nor too soft.

Next we tried the Falafal with
Hummus and Pita. The chickpeas paste coated with sesame served with pita bread
was delicious with their fine taste and juiciness. We devoured them
whole heartily.

The tandoori soya nuggets are a delicacy that the chef
recommended us to try.Desserts are simple, satisfying,
and almost kidlike: The chocolate brownie with ice cream was perfect for a
happy end to a generally happy experience.

I loved the place. The in-house
DJ plays excellent music to make the experience memorable.
