Parthi – A Beauty Haven

Dwarka is a beautiful sub-city that
offers a wide variety of salons to indulge in self-pampering. A beauty buff
with a strong inclination for pampering and facials, I headed to Parthi beauty parlor
for a facial and manicure, pedicure.

Located in Sector 18, Pink
Apartments, Dwarka, the parlor is more cozy than opulent that offers hair, skin
and body care. There is a wide variety of treatments like facials, bleach,
make-up and a choice of pedicures and manicures for women.

A skin analysis helped the owner
of the parlor to get deeper information about my skin condition, oil
production, clogged pores and pigmentation. I was suggested to try the Berry facial,
which is their Signature Facial. I braced myself for some serious pampering.
This is a facial that provides a dose of much-needed relaxation for body and
mind as well as stressed and tired skin.
This facial involves a luxurious
massage for deep-down pore purging designed to get you glowing and refreshed.
Created to awaken sallow, congested skin, the facial begins with a cleansing
process that is smoothed on and left to work its magic.
After a proper cleanse, scrub and
steam there’s some gentle extraction. The next step is a circulation-boosting
massage with cream on the face, neck and back. All benefit from a good rub down
to rev up a sluggish circulation. A layer of quenching antioxidant mask
finishes the treatment. As with all good facials, while the mask was on, the therapist
got busy massaging my head so there was a lovely, holistic feel to the
treatment. She did her best to give the perfect pressure, a fact that I was
extremely grateful for during my blissful trance I experienced during the
massage.
After washing the mask off, I
emerge with skin that looked fresh, plumped and dewy. The Berry facial products
were amazing and were particularly good for deeply moisturizing and plumping up
my dry skin. The facial is best suited for skin that needs a boost of radiance,
rather than a way to bust your breakouts.
Next experience was the pedicure
and manicure. The luxury pedicure is an hour long treatment, beginning with the
feet being bathed in bubbles. Cuticle cream was applied on my toe nails
followed by some scraping action. Legs and feet were exfoliated with scrub
before being placed in warm water. A thick layer of mask was applied followed
by some lotion for intense moisturizing.
Later, she silently kneads my
toes, feet, ankles, calves and knees until I’m almost asleep. When she’s
finished, there isn’t even an inkling of a sore muscle.  The simultaneous manicure was blissful too. After
applying cuticle cream on my nails, the manicurist scraped my hands in a
circular motion.
My nails were cleaned and exfoliated. After applying scrub,
she massaged my hands in a circular motion, removing dead skin and tanning. A
wash later, she applied some mask that was later cleaned off. A moisturizing
lotion was massaged in my hands that helped to seep deep in the skin making them
glow with radiance.
I loved the full experience and
thanked the Manager and her dedicated team for the fabulous wellness odyssey.
