YouMee – Authentic Asian Flavors

I have always been fond of Asian
delicacies. The true amalgamations of flavors are enticing and make you embark
on a culinary odyssey that leaves you happy and satisfied. I was invited by a
dear friend to witness the culinary flavors at YouMee – a paradise for sushi
and Ramen lovers.

Located in GK M block market,
this place is easily approachable. As we enter the restaurant, we are floored
by the contemporary take on perceived oriental design. The interiors resonate
authentic Chinese flavor with hints of animation all around the wall.
The suave
splash of red hues reflects the tranquility of Chinese tradition that adds to
the fancy atmosphere of the restaurant.
The upholstered comfortable sofas
and chairs also compliment the Asian theme. Large windows help you to look
outside while you enjoy their delicious food.
The Food Review –

YouMee has a variety of dimsums, sushis and Ramen bowls. After browsing through the menu, we selected some soup and salad to begin with. We
ordered for the Tom Yum Chicken soup.
The soups deserve ten on ten because of the
consistency, perfection, taste and quality.
The presentation was great and
the quantity was perfect. The salad that we selected was the Horenso salad.  This one definitely blew my mind owing to the
consistency of spinach that did not overpower the essence of goma ae dressing.
The presentation and taste was commendable.
The series of sushis started
arriving and I have to say our server did a great job in serving us.  Four sushis each in veg and non veg were served.
The first sushi was the Vegetable California, made with cucumber, avacoado,
takuwan, asparagus, sesame seeds.
It had a very good texture, the
respective fillings precisely placed. The next was Spicy Chicken –  tempered with chilli. It tasted brilliant and was
a really top-notch sushi.
The chicken stuffing was extremely delicate and the
dressing was terrific, sweet and tender, with a hint of spice. The Sakura on
the other hand was average compared to the spicy chicken.
The stuffings of both the sushis
qualify well with the covering which looked presentable and tasted simply
delicious.
The main course consisted of
YouMee signature ramen bowl – grilled chicken, seasonal greens, wakame and eggs. Sautéed in a wok, the softness of
chicken and vegetables are retained well while the bamboo shoots add to the
flavor. This dish simply stole my heart. Recommended by the chef, this one
works well for the palette.
After the delicious odyssey of sushis,
it was now time for the desserts. We ordered for cream cheese cheese cake. It
consisted of green tea powder, white sugar, cream cheese.  This dessert is perfect for people who love
sweets and cream.
This one had the right proportion of sweetness that matched
our expectations quite well. The conclusion was as good as the beginning.
We
sealed the meal with a cup of Little Buddha tea. The infusion of pineapple and
papaya is advisable to retain balance, vibrancy and inner peace.
I sure had my
balance of mind after finishing this cup. The fruity essence is so lingering it
makes you feel contented and simply happy. I loved the food as much as I
enjoyed the interiors, décor and hospitality.  I recommend this place for the finest sushis
and ramen bowls.
