A soulful experience @ Anantaa

There are spas that relax you temporarily
and there some that linger on in your memories forever. The experience at
Anantaa spa Radisson Blue, Dwarka was one such experience that I shall always
like to preserve.The hotel that sits in a convenient

As I stepped inside the spa, warm
smiling faces greeted me. The spa manager, Ms. Pooja welcomed me and introduced
me to the spa.

Well equipped with the spa details, she guided me though the
different kinds of massages and therapies that the spa offers. The ambiance of
Anantaa has a profound reflection of sanctity and peace. Based on the Budhha
concept, the spa is decorated with artificial trees that reflect serenity.

Each room at Anantaa has been
decorated differently. An International massage room has floor beds for deep
tissue massages which also include Balinese, Thai and others. The Ayurveda
massage room, on the other hand is done in a traditional manner keeping the
Indian aesthetics in mind. There is a couple room also for couples who wish to
get the therapy done together.

Soft lights and an endearing music
enchant me as I walked towards the spa room for my scrub session. The smiling therapist
greets me with folded hands and ushers me to the therapy room. The room looks
enchanting with every basic requirement of a spa. A bed made for scrub had a
shower for cleansing the body.

As I lie on the massage bed, the
therapist starts with the scrub. The pear and green apple scrub works its magic
with the soft granules and alluring fragrance. Starting from the feet, she
massages the scrub tenderly making sure the pressure is perfect.

The granules
start working well on the skin by exfoliating the body. The massage lasted for
an hour that was cleansed off with warm water. The result was a soft and supple
skin that radiated brilliantly.

I thanked the therapist and moved to the other
room for the aroma oil massage.

The aroma oil massage consists of
olive oil with few drops of any aroma oil of choice that matches the body
type. A few drops of rose essential oil was added in the Olive oil for my massage session. The
therapist, a well trained one was very familiar with her job. She began by
applying oil from the legs in a circular motion very gently. The massage was a
light one with mild pressure being applied on every body part. The stiffness is
released while pressure is applied accurately.

The gentle massage, calm ambiance and
soft music smothered me to a deep sleep. Every detail is kept in mind at
Anantaa Spa to make the customer feel relaxed and forget everything else.

The one hour massage ended and the result was
a supple and softer skin tone that beamed with radiance. I was ushered to the
sauna and steam room where the attendant helped me. The steam made the oil seep
deep inside the skin and opened up the clogged pores. A shower in the end, freshened
me up.

The spa session ended with a warm
green tea that was relaxing and rejuvinating. I thanked the staff at Anantaa
for giving me a soulful experience I shall never forget.
