The perfect brew @ Costa

They say that coffee and friends

make the most of everything. I realized the saying was true when I visited
Costa Coffee on the eve of Valentine day with my family. The venue was buzzing
with romantic couples posing for selfies and hanging out with their loved ones
over food and drinks. The Subhash Nagar mall that day was frequented by love
loonies all over the place. Love was in the air indeed!

The aroma of fresh brewed coffee
from Costa lured me to it.  We managed to
get a seat somehow amidst the mad rush on Valentine’s. The manager was
courteous enough to help us be seated amidst the mad chaos that day. We began the
review with a chilled classic cooler
reloaded. The iced drink was way beyond refreshing. The coffee beans mixed well
with ice and blended well went very well with the vanilla ice cream topped on
it. We truly loved this one.

The caramel coffee cooler had an extra essence. People who have a sweet
tooth, will truly enjoy this one. The caramel sits pretty with the foam that accentuates
the taste of the warm coffee. Truly the best of both worlds. The bites to eat
included a Texan Potato corn sandwich – prepared with fresh brown bread, the sandwich
has fillings of corn and potatoes. The Paneer
Tikka, a desi version of a cottage cheese sandwich is light and healthy. This
easy to digest sandwich was surely the winner. The Malabar chicken is the best with its chicken pieces minced well in
Malabar flavor. The curry leaves and mustard leaves took me back to Southern
India that I truly loved. The Veg Perso
Parmesian Panini was a fresh and healthy take on the regular grilled
sandwich.
We moved on to desserts that
included the chocolate muffin with
chocolate sauce. The muffins, soft and tender were freshly baked that was topped
with warm chocolate sauce. The Truffle cake with vanilla ice cream and chocolate
sauce was another dessert that ended the meal on a scrumptious note.  Costa’s signature dessert The Valentine Strawberry and White Choco Temptation was creamy and tasteful.
