Pan Asian Nights @ Cascades, The Grand New Delhi

Cascades @ The Grand New Delhi has
always impressed with its impeccable décor and large windows that usher in the
green hues from the beautiful outdoor landscaping. The interiors are intricate
and hospitality is warm. I was invited to review their Pan Asian
Nights at Cascades last week.

The menu has been curated by the Executive Sous
Chef, Sanjay Browne. It covers regions including China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan,
Hong Kong, Macau, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam.
I was elated to be a part of this
delectable journey and looked forward to review their cuisine. As I arrived at
Cascades, I was greeted by Deekhsha Mishra, Head PR & Business Development and
a few other bloggers too. The chefs table is a fabulous way to indulge in a
well curated menu by the diligent chef while enjoying a nice conversation with
like-minded people.
After a brief introduction with
each other, we took a small tour of the entire Pan- Asian fare that was beautifully
decorated. It was a tough choice to decide where to start. I began the
culinary odyssey with my favorite KhaoSuey.

The chef helped me the soup,
offering me choice of condiments to be added. Since the Thai flavors were very
vocal, I preferred to take few add-ons. I also loved the display of salads. My favorite
was the Raw papaya salad that looked very inciting with bright colors. It
tasted delicious.
There is also an interesting
display of Sushi that were served at the table. I also loved the  Nem Ran (Vietnam Spring Rolls), Sashimi, Tofu Panang
Curry (Malaysian Curry) and Malay Fish curry with Okra.
The highlight of the curated menu was the desserts
section. The Thai specialties covered Vietnamese Sago, Jaggery Pudding, Macao
specialty Egg Tart and many more. But my favorite was the coconut and jaggery
ice cream that had a brilliant taste of Thai flavor.
The Executive Sous Chef, Sanjay
Browne says, “We have introduced Pan Asian nights at Cascades in an attempt to
offer something more to our discerning guests while they dine at our all day dining
restaurant. We always strive to bring something new to the table and hope our
latest addition is appreciated by our esteemed diners.
I loved my experience and would recommend
people who love the Pan – Asian cuisine to visit the Grand Hotel for an
absolutely satisfying experience.
