Nomadic Spalon – Luxury spa experience @ home

These days with the growing
number of working women, there has been a desperate need of beauty services at
home. With the advent of online options for groceries, clothes and taxis that
are just a touch of a button away, life has become simple and convenient.

Thankfully, a growing number of
beauty services have also arrived. Now, there would be no more awkward phone
calls to salons nor stressing out when you need an emergency wax, hair spa or
haircut. My choice for home spa service ended at Nomadic Spalon.

A Noida based
spalon run by a beautiful girl called Seema. This one primarily focuses on luxury pampering for the tired and buzy
moms who are always occupied with house work or office work. Seema has brought together years of experience in the spa and hospitality industry and carved a niche for herself .

After booking my session with
Nomadic Spalon, I was already feeling at ease. An hour later, two smiling girls
with a big black bag came at my door step. I ushered them to my room. To my
surprise, they created a spa like atmosphere in my bedroom.
Music was switched
on and an earthen lamp was lit up. I was further surprised when she spread the
sheet on the bed and placed rose petals on it. My room was filled with an aroma
that whisked me to a mystic land. With dim lights, fragrant aroma, fresh rose
petals and soothing music, I had my very own personal spa @ Home.


The Forest Essential Facial
The beautician began the facial
starting from a gentle cleanser. Using a hand pounded organic fruit scrub, she
softly scrubbed my face for a few minutes which was then removed with a warm
cloth. After applying a toner, she started the facial with Tejasvani Emulsion
massage cream. This one is a lightening and brightening cream that helps in removing
blemishes and lightens the skin. Later, she also uses a light hydrating gel and
aloe vera juice to moisturize the skin.
The massage lasted for about 30
minutes that helped in increasing blood flow to the skin. She massaged my under
eye area and gave pressure points to my temple, chin and ear lobes that helped
me to relax and fall asleep.
The facial
concluded with a cream-based mask called ‘Madhulika Nourishing Masque’ that was
brushed on my face and neck while my eyes were covered with rose water cotton
balls. After 15 minutes, the pack was removed with a hot towel. Post the
facial, my skin felt very soft and supple.




The Luxury Pedicure
 
Feet are the most neglected areas
of the body. They take the burden of the entire body weight, and need that
special attention. Pedicures are a necessity these days as they help to slough
off dead cells and give a much needed massage to the most important part of the
body.
The beautician took some warm water in a small pedicure tub and added rose petals in it. The moment my feet were
soaked, the tiredness and stiffness melted away.
The cleansing started with a cleansing
cream. After massaging the cleanser in a circular motion, she began exfoliation
with a loofah with a few drops of glycerine. This helped in removing dead skin
very gently and softly.
The massage with cream was followed that
was later washed off. She applied a nourishing masque that was perfect to
soften the skin. The mask dries to a chalky white, and is removed off. My toes
were polished a lovely transparent shade, and my pedicure lasted well over a
week.
The Indulgent Manicure

The manicure happened simultaneously, but I
have to admit, both the sessions were given equal justice. The scrub is softly
scrubbed in circular motion that is then followed by cuticle cleansing. After a
cleanup, a pack is applied which is then washed off after it gets dried up. My
hands gleamed and shone.
A head massage that was done with
Olive oil is another session that switched off the tense muscles and relaxed my
senses. The circular strokes, pressure points and gentle massage lured me deep
into a peaceful sleep that I never wanted to be disturbed. Minutes later, my
hands and arms were evenly massaged that accentuated relaxation.
My daughter who was given the
pedicure session was elated with the service. She has never experienced pampering
at such a level. We both loved the spa session @ home and would recommend my readers
to book a session with the Nomadic Spalon for an ultimate relaxing experience at
the comfort your home.
