Nomadic Spalon – Luxury Spa at Home

Winter is a time when the body
needs more tender love and care. Taking a little extra time to taking care of
your skin makes the body happy and relaxed. Even though we all have our skin
care regimes at home, but a massage is highly recommended in winters.

It’s all too easy to forget when you’re
bundled up under layers of clothes how dry skin on your body can get in during
winter. Hence, it’s really worth taking a little extra time to pamper and look
after your skin with a massage at home. I chose The Nomadic Spalon for my
spa at home odyssey as I was very happy with their services earlier.

Why home spa is most recommended –

Sometimes it takes effort to go
out for a spa experience battling the traffic on the road and appointments at
the spa. Besides that, I felt that instead of going all out, it’s better to create
my own little quiet, pampering spa-like haven so I can just chill out and enjoy
the peace for an hour.

Emerging feeling relaxed, warm
and silky soft is my idea of heaven at the moment. With the added bonus of a
nice warm bath in your own home adds up to the experience.

Nomadic Spalon Spa @ Home experience –

My excitement was at its peak
when the time finally came for the therapist to arrive. Her punctuality and
warm persona impressed me instantly. After settling down, she made my bedroom a
spa like haven. Adding a little camphor, she lit the lamp and turned on the
soothing spa music. My bedroom became a spa instantly. My therapist, Shabana
also had a towel that she spread under my head and large sheet that she spread
on the bed to avoid any stain on the bed.

I lied on my back and was ready
for the spa session. Shabana took some olive oil in her hand and massaged it
on the legs. Optimum pressure was applied on the heels that were in most painful
stages since the last few days. Thankfully, Shabana was doing a fabulous job in
applying the exact pressure on them.

She later massaged the legs in
circular motion and worked up the magic in just few minutes. While her fingers
were the masters of her talent, her warm hospitable attitude made me
comfortable and at ease.

The entire massage took about 60
minutes where each part was given the perfect time and pressure. I was already
relaxed and at ease. With the soft music playing, I was transported to another
world. She later massaged my head and ensured that the pressure was applied on
the temples, neck, shoulders hence relaxing the stiff zones. I was
loving the rhythmic movements and fell asleep soon.

I preferred to have a face
cleanup session using natural products. A papaya pulp was the perfect antidote
to add luster and deep clean the skin. She took some pulp in her hands and
started massaging the face gently ensuring the strokes were in the upward
direction. The eyes were given equal attention.Taking a warm cloth, she gently
cleaned up the papaya after a 15 minute session. My skin felt light, fresher
and illuminated after the clean up.
