Marbela Beach – A Luxurious Paradise in Goa

than anywhere else in India. Speaking of luxury, Marbela gives its visitors a selection of discreet

This place has majestic trees
that cover standing proudly on the property. The dreamy walk is magnificent,
especially if you have a soft spot for subtropical palms.
Marbela is approximately 90
minutes from the airport in North Goa, situated off the Morjim/Ashwem road. 


The
place is remote, but that’s really part of the joy of the series of luxury
tents that sit on the edge of Goa’s stunning North coast looking out over the
Morjim Beach.
This seaside luxury haven has impeccably
appointed luxury tents and villas with breathtaking views of Arabian Sea. The
Beach Resort is a place where the charm of tented accommodation meets elegance
on the beach.
We reached around dinner time and
dressing for dinner was a requirement with guests gathering in luxe beachwear
for cocktails at an open, expansive view of the Morjim Beach.  As I emerged from my tent to take the short
walk to dinner at the beach side restaurant, the courteous staff smilingly welcome me
and usher me towards my destination.
Our evening ritual begins with watermelon
fritters, calamari, and fish with home-made dips that were sumptuous enough to
pass for an entree. We moved towards the beach later and enjoyed the crisp air
ruffling in our hair.
The sand in my feet felt like silk and the gushing water
tickled my senses. My daughter’s birthday eve was drawing near and my anticipation was
running wild.
The resort staff was very cooperative in organizing a surprise
birthday eve at the cabanas decorated with tea lights and white flowers. The decoration
was mesmerizing and my daughter’s happiness knew no limits. We thanked the staff
in making the birthday eve so special on such a short notice.
The next morning we woke up early
to take a walk on the beach. The mornings looked beautiful at the resort as sun
rays fell on the each corner almost giving life to it.
The crisp white furniture at the open air restaurant looked mesmerizing as
we walked past the well manicured gardens. Marbella looked fifty shades fairer
with the early morning sun as it glistened and gleamed with subtle purity.

I have
never seen anything so beautiful ever. My walk ended up at the Morjim beach
where few sun salutations start.

A morning yoga session at such a beautiful
backdrop is unforgettable and I ensured I make the most of it. I was famished
after the session and moved towards the buffet to indulge in some hearty
breakfast. Various options like eggs, dosas, paranthas and fruits made me
perplexed; but I chose the regular omlette with a glass of fresh watermelon
juice.

I captured the beautiful beach resort in my lenses and moved towards my
tent for check out. I left the resort but the beautiful memories still linger
on even now!
