Le Meridien collaborates with the India Art Fair unveiling “Follow Me”

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts,
announced its official hospitality partnership for the sixth consecutive year
with the India Art Fair – South Asia’s largest contemporary art fair. The Le
Meridien Hub at the Art Fair site in New Delhi converted into a visual
experience where the work of celebrated photographer Lucie Robinson was
showcased, bringing to life the brands newest ‘Follow Me’ programme.

Le Meridien’s Follow Me campaign
is a visual journey through five artists & Lucie Robinson being one of
them.  The campaign was launched 11 years
ago to provide artists a platform to showcase their work to a global audience
while inspiring guests and locals to experience the European heritage of Le
Méridien Hotels & Resorts through a creative lens and has grown to now
feature five varying artists.
These
artists have been handpicked with Talenthouse.
Lucie is currently in New Delhi to capture the sights & sounds of
India’s capital city through her Rouge lense.
The artists, Gita Ozolina
(Latvia), Onn Halpern (Germany), Lucie Robinson (Czech Republic), Natta
Summerky (Canada), and Chutima Treearayapon (Thailand), were selected and
traveled to destinations around the world such as Mexico City, Paris,
Barcelona, New Delhi, Bangkok, New York City, and more, to capture content that
celebrates the playful sophistication of Le Méridien, while being inspired by
the glamorous era of travel in the 60’s.
Previously, the programme has featured artists such as Gray Malin and
Markus Kreiss.
“We were pleased to partner with
the India Art Fair for a successful sixth year, this time around,” expressed
Tarun Thakral, Chief Operating Officer, Le Méridien New Delhi. “This year, we
showcased our new brand program Follow Me, a 24-hour visual journey through the
eyes of the very talented Photographer Lucie Robinson.
Lucie has captured the
romance of travel through her chic lens, from vintage cars to red rooftops and
defined the true meaning of Live and Love through her collection – Rouge. We
were also delighted to host the closing gala of the festival, which is
highlighted in the city’s social and cultural calendar.”
“India is one of my most favorite
destinations to travel to and work at, and I am thrilled to have associated
with Le Meriden for this project. Rogue is an exhibit that I’m personally very
attached to and am proud to present to the wonderful art lovers of the city. I
have been to the country before, but this first-time Delhi experience rekindled
my love for India. Now I am quite excited to capture the rich heritage and
culture of Delhi through my lens.” said Lucie Robinson.
Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts
continues to be a hotel of choice for creative travelers, the refreshed Follow
Me artwork will serve as a vehicle for guests to sit back, relax and feel
inspired in Le Méridien Hub.
