Harajoku – Authentic Japanese food served in Delhi

Few days back we visited a very unconventional café in the heart of Gurugram and experienced a burst of flavors and colors. The café was Harajuku Tokyo Cafe, a Japanese street food-inspired QSR that has been winning the hearts of the foodies across NCR.

Located on the third floor of the bustling mall, this place has already become a hotspot for its one-of-a-kind dining experience and uniquely curated Japanese delicacies customized for the Indian palate.

The place is lit up with cute slogans spread everywhere, a tree with blooming pink flowers and artifacts to add spunk to the place. What we loved most was the high energy and vibrant vibe of the place with a good selection of music and a smiling staff to compliment the experience.

Elements like vibrant murals, a live baking station, mangas, and a claw machine, all give its patrons a ride through the Harajuku Street in Tokyo, thus making it a memorable experience for them.

The Food

Harajoku has a wide variety of dishes to choose from but their sushis and ramen bowls are worth trying. Their Nigiri sushis, available in combinations with Tuna, Salmon, and Avocado are delicious. Some more new variants include Holy Rainbow maki, Spicy Tuna Salsa roll, Aburi Salmon roll, and Sushi boats, etc.

A huge variety of Ramen bowls along with over 30 new combinations of Boba tea, Hand-pulled noodles, and a fresh breakfast menu is also worth indulging.

The Japanese-inspired cafe, which is known for its light-as-air bread and desserts also offersTeddy Shaped cream buns, Spicy chicken floss buns, and desserts including Sakura Mousse cube, Chocolate hazelnut mousse cube, Sakura panna cotta, Chocolate hazelnut (Bueno) panna cotta, Triple layer Lychee cheesecake, and Montblanc.

With renowned Japanese chefs working under the brand’s wing, the extensive range of dishes and delicacies are proven to reflect the flavors of authentic Japanese cuisine. Harajuku Tokyo Cafe aims at recreating the true Harajuku street experience through authentic cuisine and inspired interiors that reflect the vibe from the streets of Tokyo and Osaka.
