CAARA Café – Delectable food served with love

CAARA Café in the British Council
can be a good choice for those times in your life when you develop a craving
for some excellent food and a stimulating ambiance. This comfortable European Café
churns out reliably tasty and homely Panini,
salads, pastas, breads, cakes and other classic dishes, all served with the
sincerest of smiles from their knowledgeable staff.

The owner Ambica is a diligent young
girl who loves to keep her guests happy. At such a young age, she has mastered
the art of serving fine food and also running a catering service.
As we walked into the café, we
were instantaneously seduced by the aroma of fresh coffee wafting through the
restaurant. The interior leaves no doubt that this is an Art Café  – the walls are literally smothered with
various reproductions of art work by famous painters.

The ambiance is both
smart and trendy, and presented friendly vibes.

Well placed tables and chairs
have quite a distance from each other to let in privacy and solitude while
eating. Diners can often be seen sipping coffee while working on the laptop.

Often
library members come here for a quick bite while seeping in through their
research papers. International guests love this place due to its friendly vibe
and European aura that separates it from the rest of the cafes located in CP.
Wondering what to order, the
manager came up and helped me with her suggestions and politely asked me to
take my seat. First arrived – Chicken Panini.  Moist, fresh, and lightly seasoned, it upstaged
any other dishes we ordered.
This was some heartfelt satisfaction at its best
accompanied by fresh basil pesto. It treated basil as what it technically is,
fresh and original. Also very tasty was the hummus, pairing well with the crunchiness
of the carrots and cucumber – a very distinctive combination of freshness and
flavor.
I relished a refreshing, but
balanced cold pressed juice from Juice Up with it. The combination of carrot, apple, orange and lemon make it a highly relishing and refreshing drink.

Next was the super foods salad. The Rocket
leaves infuse well with beans, beetroot, broccoli and feta cheese making it a
world class combination of health and taste. I loved the freshness.

The Pest Pasta was tasty, moist
and well-seasoned, with just the right of amount of seasoning. The Pizza
focaccia pizza bite was pure flavor and a true joy to eat. This place is definitely a highly recommended place for people
who love food and art.
