Brewer Street – New kid on the Block

Brewer Street, the new kid on the
block is coming up as the hottest destination for the new generation. Located
at ILD Mall, Sohna Road, this fresh new hang out zone is gearing up to be the latest
buzz in Gurgaon. Spread across 15000 sq ft, the micro brewery has an expansive
cover of 250 people.

The indoors spiked up with dim
lightning and easy seating, adds up to the comfort level of experiential
diners. Brewer Street talks about the fresh beer and sumptuous world cuisine
that is served by smiling attendants. On a cool winter night, the outdoor
dining spanning around 8000 sq. ft makes up for the most romantic dinner.

We went on a warm sunny afternoon
to the Brewery with a fairly decent appetite. The manager ushered us to our
seats that gave a complete look of the place. The dark interiors with
comfortable seating and brick walled accentuated the youthfulness of the place.
The large bar area that makes surprising concoctions has diligent bar tenders
who are busy experimenting with new cocktails and mock tails.

A large plasma Television screen on
the wall has the soccer fever running, but we preferred to concentrate on our
culinary odyssey instead. Owing to the scorching heat, the manager of the place
suggested that we try mocktails to cool our heels.

A mango delight and a
freshly squeezed orange juice were brought for us. My friend relished the
chilled glass of mango juice that had chinks of mango and ice blended well; while
I was in complete awe with the presentation of the orange juice. Chilled to
perfection, it was served in an orange covering.

The juices freshened us up and
paved way for our starters. We ordered Bruchettas, Falafel and Pita bread with
Hummus. The Bruchettas were the most extra ordinary delights I have ever
tasted. The fillings that consisted of onions and capsicums were done with
perfection while the outer covering was dense yet soft.

However, the falafel failed to
impress me as much. Although the aroma was perfect, it was a bit tough to bit
into. Still the mixture inside was the perfect amalgamation of spiciness, which
was worth biting into. The pita bread we ordered was truly a delight for the
warm weather. The soft and freshly made pita bread dipped in hummus made my heart
happy.

As we were really satiated with
the starters and the drinks, we preferred to give the main course a miss.
However, the manager suggested we try the grilled sandwiches. The sandwiches were
a good choice with cheese and vegetables blended well.
The servers who took care of our
meals ensured that everything was brought in on time. Our experience was indeed
an unforgettable one and surely a recommendation for people who love new places
to dine in.
