Biryani Blues – Culinary delicacies rich in aroma & flavor

It was an unusual day at work that Monday. Back to back meetings,
board room discussions made me tired and very hungry. Since I did not have time to pack food, I thought
of ordering something online. Nowadays, these food apps are a time saver.

You don’t have to wait in the restaurant for your food to
come. Just order food online and sit back and relax. So while I was going
through some options to order, my search ended at Biryani Blues.

The food chain
spans across the country with its biryanis and rich curries that take you on
culinary tour throughout India.

It took barely an hour for the delivery boy to come with the ordered food. All the items were very neatly packaged. This helped in retaining
moisture and freshness in each box. As I opened my first box, I could dive into
the aromatic fragrance of the biryanis. The richness of rice and vegetables
looked succulent and tasted divine.

Vegetables were done well and the rice was cooked with
perfection. The Indian spices and herbs bring justice to the dish and take it
to another level of satiation. The paneer 65 was a combo with the biryani.

Although it had extra oil in it, the taste and aroma made the dish complete and
delicious. The other combo meal that I ordered was the Chicken Biryani and
Nargis Kofta.

The chicken in the biryani was done well while the rice was
also perfectly cooked. I was however disappointed with the Nargis Kofta. The stuffing
inside was not matching well with the exterior. It could have been cooked
better.

The Malabar paranthas were also disappointing as the thickness of the
paranthas concealed the taste and flavor of the Andhra parantha.

I was searching for that typical Southern flavor but missed
it. The Andhra Chicken Fry was the best dish I ever tried. This one made me
feel super happy and satisfied. The curry leaves, green chillies and tomato
masala blend well with the chicken and make it super delicious.
