A rejuvenating spa experience at Aheli
in the Roseate House, Aercoity was an experience I shall cherish forever. The
hotel is strategically located near the Airport and is usually buzy with guests
who are seen attending business meetings. 

I was escorted towards the lift that
took me to a mini paradise on the top floor. Sunlight plays at every corner at the entrance that accentuates the tranquility of the heavenly paradise. 


After a warm greeting by the spa manager,
I am ushered to the treatment room  where
my holistic wellness journey is planned with perfection.  


The massage planned for me was the signature De-Tox
Aheli massage that is a combination of Ayurveda, Balinese, and Thai that lasts
for 90 minutes.

The spa attendant takes me to the
ladies room and provides a locker to keep my belongings. I slip into my robe
and move towards the massage room. The room is tranquil and immediately gives a
calming sensation to the mind.

The subtle
aroma whisked me to a mystic land, while the soft gentle music brought me
closer to peace and happiness.  The wood
paneled floors, light hued walls and the perfect temperature setting made the
atmosphere more welcoming.
The therapist, Kim, who has
acquired training in thereuptic massages was very well versed with pressure
points. She began the De-Tox Aheli massage starting from a gentle cleansing of
feet.

The Jwalini
oil is a herbal oil that helps to re-texturize the skin , which is taken in
generous amount and is gently applied on the body.

Every muscle of the body is
gently pressed while smothering the oil, removing tensed muscles. The aroma of
the oil lingers for a long time making me feel great. The massage lasts for an hour and the feeling is completely blissful leaving my skin soft and supple.
She concludes the therapy with a facial
using the same oil followed by head massage using the Bringradi oil that helps in
healing hair fall problems. The soft music playing in the backdrop only
accentuated my facial experience.
The facial massage helped in increasing blood
flow to revitalize the skin. She massaged my under eye area to relax the nerve
muscles.  My skin felt smooth and glowing.
The reflexologist, Pramod is
another talented therapist who is a master in disguise.  He presses the nerves of the feet in a manner
that is immediately relaxing and blissful. A warm shower later, I am
transformed into a relaxed person glowing with radiance. The Jasmine tea offered to me rejuvenated me even further.

Aheli is a beauty destination
that boasts space and a truly tranquil ambience. The cheerful well trained
staff have a long-standing commitment to the hotel.

I came in with stress oozing from every part
of my body, but after indulging in the thereuptic treatment here,   I was transformed with a renewed sense of
wellbeing, that shall remain etched into my memory forever.
