Immigrant Cafe CP – Food Review

CP has a plethora of options, so it took us a while to decide where to head to for a nice lunch on a Weekday. We had heard a lot about the Immigrant Cafe and so decided to visit the place.

Located in the inner circle of the bustling Cannaught Place, this cafe is a haven for food lovers. A flight of stairs leads you to a gastronomical paradise.

Dimly lit, great music and excellent food sums up the Immigrant Cafe. After being seated for a while, we asked for the menu.

There are plenty of options in drinks so it took us a while to choose and order. I selected the watermelon and ginger cooler while my daughter went for a lemon based cocktail. Our drinks arrived soon and we loved the presentation.

My first sip of the watermelon drink freshened me instantly. The ginger added in the drink only compliments the taste even further. Meanwhile my daughter was enjoying her tangy drink.

A few minutes later, we ordered for the food. our selection was a watermelon feta cheese salad, pasta made in white sauce and a chicken breast with spinach filling.

I have to admit that that the salad was definitely different from the usual ones we order. The dressing was light, flavor was rich and presentation scored the highest.

The basil pesto pasta was the best I have ever tried. It had an excellent combination of presentation and flavor spruced with a smooth finish on the palette.

We also loved the chicken breast. A unique dish complete with spinach fillings makes this dish a winner.

The cafe is a must visit if you want to indulge in a delicious meal with friends and families. It creates a different ambiance in the evening with foot tapping numbers, musical nights and makes the place perfect for a rocking party.
