Cinépolis’ Coffee Tree, hosted ‘Cook-off challenge’ & gourmet food pairing event at Cinépolis, Greater Noida

Cinépolis, India’s 1st
international and World’s 4th largest movie theatre organized a gourmet
afternoon & Cook-off challenge at Coffee Tree, the signature property &
in-house F&B lounge of Cinépolis.

Held at Cinépolis Grand Venice Mall, Greater
Noida, the culinary event witnessed celebrity Chef Nishant Choubey bringing to
life the most popular delicacies from the Coffee Tree menu followed by a unique
‘cook-off challenge’ amongst the audience members.

Coffee Tree is the in-house
gourmet café in the premises of Cinépolis, serving freshly prepared dishes
& taking the food experience in a theatre beyond sandwiches, nachos and
burgers. It also serves as a full-fledged, state of the art coffee shop present
inside the cinema catering to the patrons coming into the cinema to watch
movies as well as people coming to just grab a bite. The food options range
over a plethora of cuisines panning from, Pastas and Pizzas for the Italian
connoisseurs to the more exotic, baguis and crepes from Mexico. Apart from
selling the entire spectrum of coke beverages from the counter, it also serves
coolers and shakes.
Counted amongst best chefs in the
country, Chef Nishant Choubey took over the live kitchen at Coffee Tree and
made the most popular dishes from Cinépolis gourmet menu at the counter. As the
chef continued with his culinary skills and made pasta, Chili cheese toast,
Chicken tikka sandwich, he also spoke how fresh ingredients are a must to
create any recipe. The interactive session also had some inputs from chef on
food pairing & beverages.
The live demonstration was
followed by food tasting where patrons & media relished the preparations
and a few other items from the Coffee Tree menu. Media & patrons got an
exclusive peek into how the best of dishes on the Coffee Tree menu are being
prepared, paired & served, in the most creative and interesting manner.
The Cook-off challenge witnessed
participation from 6 contestants who competed with each other to showcase their
culinary prowess. The contestants were asked to make pasta and mojito at their
stations, with all the ingredients being provided by Cinépolis .  All the dishes were adjudged by Chef Nishant
and a winner was announced.
