AMPM Cafe and Bar, Galleria – Delightful and Refreshing

Galleria has always been my
favorite place to hang out. The vibe of this place is so enriching that it
refreshes you after a long day at work. This place has amazing eateries but the
one that became my favorite was the AMPM Café and Bar.

Opened a few months back by Rajan
Sethi, a successful restaurateur, this place has seats filled every day. So if
you want to enjoy the ambiance and food, it’s always better to book in advance.
Not only is the food duper fabulous, the music and ambiance is excellent too.
I
reviewed the place on Thursday with my daughter, expecting the place to be
empty but was stunned to find it buzzing by people from all walks of life. The fresco area seemed quite interesting, but the heat made us move indoors.
The corner
seats were taken by a large group of ladies sipping their margaritas, while the
other tables were occupied with corporate honchos who just got free from work
and enjoying their beer.
We had to wait for some time to get our seats, but
luckily got a very comfortable seating option quite close to the live band
area.
The bar seemed the most
frequented place as the bartenders seemed busy crafting exotic masterpieces. We
ordered for a sangria and watermelon drink to begin with. Minutes later, our
drinks arrived – chilled and delicious. I loved the music being played in the
background while sipping the sangria.
The chef suggested we begin with
some sliders that included a platter of naan with chicken and black daal. We happily agreed and also preferred to order something from the menu. My eyes stopped at
the Greek salad and the hummus platter while my daughter drooled at the chicken
pizza. The chicken bruschettas seemed equally enticing.
The salad was the first thing
that arrived. The salad complete with onions, tomatoes, rocket leaves, feta cheese
is mixed well with herbs and seasonings.
It was well presented and the perfect
choice for a healthy start.
The bruschettas were heavily overloaded with minced chicken that seemed appropriate. We loved it! The slider that comprised of chicken was well
presented without compromising on the taste or flavor.
Minutes later, the pizza arrived
and we devoured it to our heart’s content. The chicken in the pizza is well
done and the seasonings play off well to accentuate the taste. It gives the
usual pasta a kick off and melts in the mouth at each bite.  I loved the hummus platter as it was more satiating
to my taste buds.
We were through with the review
and were beginning to leave, but as we approached the door, the live band was
just about to begin. Sadly we couldn’t experience it, but it defiantly seemed
to look appealing. I would definitely recommend this place for great music,
excellent service and top notch food.
