Super Food – Super healthy menu @ Cafe Delhi Heights

Café Delhi heights has come up
with a Super food menu that is a brilliant conjugation of health andtaste. I p
ersonally
am a big fan of the restaurant chain and love their enticing meal options.

We
visited the Cross Point mall branch in Gurgaon and tried the items from the
super food menu. The menu is curated by nutritionist Kavita Devgan who is the
author of the book ‘Don’t diet’. She is a firm believer in healthy food without
comprising on taste and flavor.
Café Delhi height has always been
synonymous with amazing items to satiate the palette and satisfy the soul. We
reached the venue and found the place to be buzzing with high energy and
excellent music.

Live music enlightened the place and people were enjoying the
appetizing meals. We took our seats and were handed the Super Foods menu. On first
instance, I noted the healthy ingredients.

There was barely anything
artificial, sweetened or caloric in the entire menu. The Masala Sattu with
Coconut Water and Sabja Lemonade were the first things we ordered. It was a
tangy and sweet combination that was unconventional and delectable. The chilled
drinks are devoid of anything artificial and taste amazing.
Shakargand Tikki chaat was the perfect
dish to start the review. The softness in the shakargandi makes it a winner.
For some time, I could not believe that the sweet potatoes can be so tasty.
I ordered for Miso soup with sea
weeds. Rich in protein, the soup has a perfect blend of ripe tomatoes.
The bhel
chaat or corn puffs mixed with peanuts, lemon and rock salt make it the perfect
snack option which is light and easy to digest.
I ordered the Burritos next. I
loved the way the vegetables play off so well inside a humble roti roll. The
seasonings added to the vegetables make it a complete meal and taste amazing.
In the main section, I preferred
the Brown Rice Biryani with Flax Seed Raita, loaded with the goodness of complex
carbs, protein, fibre and omega 3. We also selected the Quinoa Encrusted Salmon.
The salmon is done well and served with vegetables to make it look complete and
enriching. The moong daal medley deserves equal attention with its super
healthy ingredients and healthy quotient. The Trio of hummus with lavaash,
beetroot and salsa is a dish that I loved the most.
We sealed the meal with three
varieties of halwas – beetroots, pumpkin and broccoli that took the usual
desserts to another level completely. I fell in love with the broccoli halwa.
Never knew that Brocolli could be sweet and delicious. The sugar was perfect in
each of them.
