Skeyndor – Celebrating beauty since 50 years

Beauty is skin deep and no other

Last Monday , the company celebrated
50 glorious years of its foundation in Hotel Eros, Nehru Place where people
from 60 salons from all over India namely, Geetanjali, Kanya Salon, Play Salon,
AN John, Identity Salon, Page 3, Bridgtte Jones Fasion Salon, Beauty Salon
& Spa, Hershe’s Salon were invited to join in the celebration.

Ms. Margaret Beales, the Master
of Cosmetic Science came all the way from Spain to train and guide Indian
professionals on the new products and machines Skeyndor has launched. She said
” It is a joyous occasion for all of us here as we are celebrating the
golden jubilee of Skyndor.
It’s time to remember and cherish
50 golden years of the brand. The things that truly stand out and define its
remarkable journey for the last 50 years are innovation, science and beauty.
They have all contributed to its learning every day and made it an expert in
understanding skin and skin care like no one does.”

The highlight of the entire evening
was the dance troupe who performed on smashing retro numbers and contemporary
music. 


The audience was encouraged to participate in the fun event by dancing
and singing along with the hostess of the show. 

The gala event was concluded
with a cake cutting ceremony. The cake made with edible beauty
products from Skeyndor looked alluring and
tasted delicious.

Skeyndor extended a warm goodbye with a beautiful gift hamper of the finest beauty essentials from the brand. I was super impressed by the packaging. The three different elements were a sleeping oil, a 50 SPF sun cream and a thermal water based cleanser. I fell in love with the product instantly.

The lightweight cleanser is a water based product that hydrates the skin while making it supple and nourished. I could feel dirt and grime leaving my skin when I dabbed some with cotton on my face. My skin was breathing finally.

I used some sleeping oil on my face and neck gently in circular motion. The effect was magical the next day. The oil worked like magic at night and helped in restoring the moisture.

I even tried the Sun Expertise cream. This one is a must have if you are a girl on the go. The SPF is 50 in this one that helps to retain moisture while protecting the skin tissues from the harsh sun rays.

The non greasy formula is a bliss as compared to other heavy cream based sun block creams.
