Poke Bowls @ Empress of China – An odyssey of flavors

Few days back, I reviewed a very interesting
concept at my favorite hotel, Eros New Delhi. The promotion was going on for
Poke Bowls at Empress of China. Located on the ground level of the hotel, this restaurant
has a classic medley of succulent aroma and mouth watering dishes that are
presented beautifully.

Poke Bowls – a Hawaiian concept
 
Traditionally a Hawaiian concept,
now practiced in Southeast Asia, Poke Bowls are a combination of Starch,
marinated meat and accompaniments all served together.
Empress of China brings
this concept on the dining table for guests this August for the major meals of
the day.
We devoured other starters along
with the Poke bowls. We started off with Chicken egg drop and starters like Prawn
Har Gao, Chicken Pan fried dumpling, Crystal Lohan dumpling and Chicken dry red
chilies. The spiciness of the dishes was consistent in each dish while the
taste was brilliant.
The Main Course included Clay pot Chicken, Crispy lamb, Stir
fry vegetable green, Assorted vegetable Spicy garlic sauce, Ginger and Garlic
Fried rice and Vegetable lohan noodles. I was particularly fond of the clay pot
chicken and the ginger garlic fried rice. I ordered for the Salmon Poke Bowl.  I loved the soft salmon and the combination with sticky rice. This dish is perfectly light, healthy and delicious.
If you are fond of Asian delicacies
and would want to embark on a culinary odyssey, you must visit Empress of China
and devour the succulent flavors. We sealed the meal with a delicious Steamed
chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice cream.
