Morning Fitness Party – Exercising was never so much Fun!

Sundays are usually lazy when you

don’t want to face the morning smog and changing weather. But this Sunday was
special as it had fitness thrown it. I was excited to witness a combination of
vigorous and enticing workouts @ The Morning Fitness Party in Lalit.

The morning was beautiful as I
boarded the cab and left for the event. A long queue was lined up to register
for the happening workout. I got more charged up and moved towards the venue.
After completing the registration, I went ahead to participate in the most awaited
fitness party.

There were people lined up to
start with Yoga session with Manisha Kohli. Manisha comes with a very
exhaustive background in yoga and has taught people of all age groups and levels.
I enjoyed the session as it was slow and rhythmic just the way I practiced.
The
half an hour long session charged me and I looked excited for the next session
– Masala Bhangra with Nupur. The brilliant session was high on energy and
rocked everyone who participated.
The catchy music and her vibrant moves
charged everyone and we smiled and followed her with full enthusiasm. Although
I panted after the session, yet I think it was worth it.

The aqua sessions happening parallel
on the top floor was also very enticing. I could not participate in that event
as I was loving my Bhangra session. The most awaited session happened after a break of
ten minutes. It was time for Capoiera with Shiva. A very interesting form of
Martial Arts, it imbibes feeling of love and happiness while performing.

A sense
of freedom is evoked in the performer during the session. It was a fabulous combination
of fun and discipline where we had to follow Shiva and his ardent young team
who practiced the art form so beautifully.

We practiced in pairs and managed to
make amazing friends during the session. It was hilarious and fun and revived
the childhood days back again. We would bump into each other and laugh while
dancing. A few selfies and groupies later, we exchanged numbers and became close
buddies.

A health counter from the Lalit
hotel ensured people consumed healthy diet while exercising. The session was
over but I was truly inspired to join the Morning Fitness Party again when it happens
again.
