Masterclass session @ V Club Sohna Road

Sundays are for chilling out and
learning something new. This Sunday, I got to experience a fantastic
Masterclass session from the renowned Master Chef Mr. S. K.
Bhaskar
@ V Club. V
club is one of the most preferred destinations in Gurgaon, that provides
luxurious spaces, unparalleled service, extensive recreational amenities and
exquisite gastronomy.

Located in the heart of Sohna
Road, Gurgaon, the luxurious club has two indoor Badminton courts, two
Squash courts, a Tennis court, Table Tennis rooms, Aerobics/Zumba
& Yoga Studio and Swimming Pool, where they
occasionally conduct Aqua Zumba and Yoga Classes.
The highlight of the club is a
luxurious 24-seat theatre simile to PVR Gold Class and a fully-functional multi-cuisine restaurant. The luxury elements to the club are indeed worth appreciating.
The Cooking and Bartending
Session
V Club organized the Masterclass session where the Chef Bhaskar showcased
exclusive dishes. The talented chef is known
for his pre-opening, menu planning & developing, coasting, recipe
making.
His professional acumen includes planning menu for fine dining and
banqueting at hotels like Jaypee Siddharth, Hotel Ashok (Capitol) and
restaurants over the years in industry.
We were excited to watch the
bartender prepare some exotic cocktails and mocktails for us. Gaurav Bhagi, the
head bartender began with a creative twist to cappuccino – ‘V Club
Cappuccino
’. Made with pineapple juice, lemon juice, vanilla syrup, egg
white, ice-cube garnished with cinnamon sticks, this drink was indeed
excellent. I devoured it to my heart’s content.
The other one that followed was
the ‘Water Melon Khaffir Lime Martini’. The sweetness of watermelon is
grounded with the sharp flavors of Kafir Lime. After a thorough training and a
keen observation, I volunteered to prepare the drink and was genuinely
appreciated by Gaurav.
It was time to move towards the
mastercless session. The chef greeted us warmly and gave a brief explanation
about the dishes – ‘Broccoli and Cheddar stuffed Potato Skin’ and ‘Meatball
Pasta in V Special Primavera Sauce
’.
The preparation was done in a few
minutes while the audience watched the masterchef perform his culinary artwork.
I loved both the dishes. The former one was tangy and sweet with the stuffing
matching the crispiness of capsicum. The meatball with its hot quotient played
a harmonious melody with the Primavera sauce.
I was indeed looking forward to
the review of the food at V club. While the starters like spring rolls, paneer
tikka enticed my palette, I was immensely satisfied with the main course that
included Chicken biryani and butter chicken.
I was filled to the brim and
thanked the staff for the immaculate hospitality. It was time to bid adieu to
the lavish club. The management had another beautiful surprise in the form of
an enormous basket that had delectable variety of goodies like fresh breads,
muffins, drumsticks, cake, foccacia bread, jellies and much more.
I loved the experience at V Club
and would come back again for another magical experience.
