The Holiday Inn @ International Airport New Delhi – An unforgettabale feast

The Aerocity has come up with brilliant options to choose from for the traveler to stay and enjoy luxurious facilities. The Holiday Inn @ International Airport New Delhi caters to the traveler with world class amenities that give tourists a memorable stay.

On Friday night, me and my family
were invited to dine at The Holiday Inn Aerocity to review their Ala Carte menu
@ Viva – all day dining restaurant. The restaurant is well lit and
spacious that had mostly guests enjoying conversations with food. The ample
space and lingering aroma is very alluring.

The ambiance is relaxing where
tables are decently placed with easy walking space for guests.

Wooden floors
and a smart bar loaded with cocktails, wine and beer near the entrance is very fascinating.
A private dining area with large seating at one corner gives private space for
family get-togethers.

Viva is a multi-cuisine affair
with delicacies from different parts of the world. We took the seat next to the
well laid buffet to enjoy the wide variety of delectable cuisines, created by
the Executive Chef.
We started the culinary odyssey with drinks. The first one
was Caravan Iced tea ordered by my husband. A fabulous concoction of Earl Grey
infused iced tea and cranberry juice makes this drink a winner amongst all.

The
Si Pang drink that I ordered for myself was prepared with fresh watermelon and
muddled mint that adds freshness and zing. The double berry cooler ordered by
my daughter is a mélange of berries with a sour twist. We all loved our drinks.

Anyone who adores food, could
work up a good appetite here.  With a
wide variety of meats, chicken, seafood, vegetables, the restaurant does
justice to the expectation of the diners.

Viva is a tad different for the
regular restaurants in hotels, where the chef is happily curating interesting
new delights and displaying them on the buffet table.

This essence can be experienced
while gorging a variety of fresh greens at the salad counter. The salad was
gone from my plate in a few seconds that satiated me to a level impossible to
express.

Moving on to the soups counter, Viva
continues to astonish us. A live counter of soups with fresh ingredients are
displayed at the table. There are
fresh breads, drumsticks, buns and puffs, all ready to be devoured with butter.
I loved the Kid’s Corner that is a magnificent display of dishes to entice kid’s
palette.
We start from the soup section
and get the bowls filled with manchow soup. The aroma of vegetable broth is
accentuated with the flavors of chicken; a flavor I cannot forget.
The chef served us the Mahi Tikka
which was more like a painting than an entrée, with vibrant petals of sea bass decorating
the plate accompanied by a fine dressing on the side. The fish was peppery and
flavorful, complemented by the mellow vegetables and the dips.
The next starter that we devoured
were the chicken skewers. Each bite was rich and dreamy and a few notches
spicier than the former starter. If you love chicken,
you’ll relish the moist, chunky boneless pieces coated with traditional herbs.
They simply melt in your mouth.

The Pan seared Chicken breast is
another favorite that my family loved. There’s something gratifying about the
flavors and texture of this dish. The salad comprising of beans and potatoes create
a succulent flavor, making the dish a masterpiece.
We sealed the meal from the
dessert counter that has a wide display of the best sweet delights. I stuck
firm with the Crème Brule, while my husband chose the strawberry and chocolate
ice cream. I also loved the Panacota Black Forest cake, that is a wonderful way
to end the meal.

The food is top notch, with a plethora of options to enjoy at Viva. I would call it the complete package.
