Hair Color & Nail Art experience @ Geetanjali Salon

The weekend opened up with spectacular
review of nail art and hair color experience at Geetanjali Salon Westend Greens. The
nail art is very famous at the salon and I wanted to accentuate my nails before
going to a high end party. I wanted to wear some bright colors.

Nail Art by Lure Nails
 
Nail Art  is becoming a growing trend in the
metropolitan cities these days. With the fashion industry growing tremendously,
women are being more curious and interested to try out new trends that look appealing
and stay longer.
I tried the nail art from Lure Nails. The beautiful wide variety
of colors and patterns are indeed enticing. These gorgeous set of nail designs
are perfectly suitable for Wedding nail art and are practical and wearable on
nails.
Though the nail arts come in
different patterns and colors, I picked a bright brown color and a glitter to
add spunk for my nails.
The procedure –
The nail art designer has been trained by Lure Nails from Gurgaon. his expertise and knowledge reflected well while doing the job with dedication.


Firstly, he
applied a usual base coat followed by a gel paint. it is then dried in a small machine that is meant to harden the gel and make it more long lasting. Then he applies
a lovely brown shade, which is then dried for some time. 


After it got
dried up, he applied a shade of glitter nail paint, using toothpicks. This was
helpful in spreading the glitter one at a time from the tip of the nail. Placing
them in a falling pattern helped with more coverage right at the tip. The result was phenominal. My nail paint is still strong and sturdy even after putting my hands under water. 

       

The Hair color experience by Diya

I am always skeptical in applying
hair color because of the harsh effect of chemicals.  However, when the stylist showed me an ammonia
free product by L’Oreal, I felt at ease.
DIACTIVATEUR is a cream developer
specifically designed to work with L’Oréal’s next-generation tone-on-tone hair color
ranges. It is an Ammonia-free color with white hair coverage of up to 70% on
base shades and has rich, deep reflects while making the hair soft and bouncy.
I went ahead with a subtle red tinge which
would go well with my black hair.  A power dose color A-OX is mixed to enhance the color. He began
by applying the hair color and left it for 40 minutes. Later, he washed my hair
with L’Oreal professional shampoo and applied conditioner to soften the hair
texture.
It took around 15 minutes for the wash and the conditioning. I didn’t mind the duration as I was
enjoying the back massage from the massage chair. The result after the entire process looked tremendous. My hair looked radiant and soft,
while the red tinge was very subtle. I was satisfied with the after effect.
