Luxury Farmhouse with pool in Manesar – Sunahari Bagh

I’ve stayed in several different room categories at various resorts and hotels and I’m always impressed but at Sunahari Bagh, I felt at home. The best thing is we took our four year old shitzu with us. Yes, its pet friendly and you can bring your furry babies along.

Location

The farmhouse is located near Manesar and is quite easily approachable. If you are coming from Delhi, keep coming on the NH 8 Highway. It’s better to follow the Google maps here that would take you to the exact location. The road towards the farmhouse is bumpy for a kilometer, but once you reach it would be worth the travel.

Sunahari Bagh – Home away from Home

Sunahari Bagh offers a comfortable farmhouse that offers all amenities to make your stay comfortable. There’s a full working kitchen with oven, dishwasher, fridge, toaster and coffee machine plus all the cutlery, crockery and glassware that you need. The fridge is fully stocked with milk and fruits. However, you need to tell the staff in advance for your food preferences.

A huge living room comprising of comfortable sofas with beautiful prints caught my eyes the very first instant. The huge wide centre table added to the beautification of the living room.

There is also a big screen TV where you can watch OTT movies and series. We logged onto Netflix and watched a film later.

Rooms

After a nice hearty meal, we checked in our rooms. They are one downstairs and two upstairs. The rooms have attached balconies that throw open a beautiful view of the garden area. You will find lot of birds and butterflies as the farmhouse has a wide variety of trees and plants.

The rooms are basic with queen size beds, study table, wardrobe and dressing table. The attached washrooms are spacious and comprise of a rain shower. It’s advisable to bring your own toiletries like dental kit and shampoos. There’s also a beautiful sun filled terrace leading out from the living area, perfect for morning coffees.

Outdoors

The landscaping is worth being mentioned as it literally looks like a dream palace – the garden has seasonal flowers like poppies and dahlias blooming which is quite a treat for the eyes. We reached at lunch time, and the staff welcomed us with a nice hot lunch of vegetables and pulses served with hot rotis and accompanied by fresh salad and curd.

As there is plenty of open space, there are three gardens spread across. There are artificial waterfalls, swings put up and a nice cabana where you can enjoy evening snacks with friends. There is a big pool which is perfect for a nice dip in the summers.

Entertainment

Kids can enjoy activities like badminton, Frisbee and ball here. Indoor activities include carom board and ludo.  In between admiring the natural beauty of the place you can also drop a visit to their small poultry farm where they kept animals like hens, ducks and cows. The milk is sourced from the cow and is literally quite fresh. There is also a music player where you can use it for parties with friends.

Basically you don’t need to bring much; you can pack a small bag and head there for the weekend! The farmhouse is perfect to connect and bond with your family and friends. You can book the place in advance
